Not as bad as the good old days

50/60/70/years ago the food was even worse then it is now. Ever hear of "DDT" Farmers used to put so much poison on the crops it was a wonder the food did not kill everybody. They have always injected nice red blood into meat to make it look nice. They always and still do take the old almost sour milk and mix it with fresh milk and sell it as fresh. None of this information is new to us old timers but the new generation is actually trying to fix what has been wrong for ten thousand years. It ain't never gonna happen.

I just eat what I like and don't worry about bugs, dirt, insecticide, mold, out of date, or any other crap in our food system. If it tastes good I like it.

Ronnie

I'd say ten thousand years is lil exaggerated.

But the statement is true, "you are what you eat"

I think you have a point, going back the 40-60 years, the food, like TV dinners, and other things, I wouldn't be surprised of what they used to preserve it
