Release the Kraken!!!

I agree! Never did understand why they kept the Buick brand. Pontiac would have been a much better choice.

That is cool. I don't think I have every seen one of those.

Had a guess it was a Suburban. Had to look it up, but did not realize that name plate had been around back then. Even further. They have been using that name for over 80 years. Wow.

While I agree with the sentiment (my first car was a '66 Pontiac), it was a simple business decision for GM. In one of GM's larger markets (China), Buick outsold Pontiacs 5 to 1. The Chinese equate the Buick to a Cadillac and love the lower costs.

Rice or nice?

They could've at least made it a regional car brand. Not killed it off entirely. I know for a fact I'd pick a Pontiac over a Buick any day. Well as long as the GSX, Jetstar, Riviera, and GNX aren't in the equation. Those four would have a chance in my book...

I live near the hood. See this crap all the time. There's a yellow Silverado like this and a McDonalds themed caprice, I believe, that roll around frequently.

All of them causing hearing loss to themselves.

I'm wondering, do they, um, "gussy up" the inside of the car over there too?

1937 Dusenburg. That's all I know about it . Ran into it at the grocery store . Waited a few minutes for the owner but I was in a hurry . That's the first one I've seen I public like that . I would trade every car I have for that one car . It was amazing

Not sure of the exact year of that one but that is a 1936-1937 Cord. Very cool car.

Checkout Jay Leno's. I like the one in the thread better but this gives info.on the car

Rice or nice?

One can never have too many toys...
That thing would be a car show car for sure. But you might get tired of constantly explaining what the heck it is. I know my dad is kinda heading down that road. I have to explain to everyone why our car has hide away headlights, and what a Slantnose is...
