I just found this thread and have a question. Would the stock V6/GT with the FP6/8 package or a stock California Special be considered rice? I may be a ricer and didn't even know it.

Huh? No? Why would it be?

I get the import stuff with ground effects and fart tips, but I get the feeling from some on this thread that any external add-ons (wings, scoops, etc) that don't produce hp are rice regardless of the car underneath. Maybe I'm just not clear on the definition.

Not unless it's flashy and obnoxious, and claims that it adds power then no

Those wide scoops improve air flow to the engine and give it about 35 hp to the front wheels

I agree, as what does a 12-in high wing do for a front wheel drive car? I am now wondering if my Eleanor and side scoops and CS wing on a V6 make it a ricer in everyone's opinion? These add-ons don't do anything but I sure get a lot of positive comments.

I wouldn't say it makes it a ricer or ricey, in my opinion you're just making YOUR mustang the way you want it to be
