I want a 65 fastback
They are all titled as 65 or later. The 64.5, blah blah blah just describes the evolution of the first models- they swapped things out. I could only speculate if they made the changes for efficiency in performance or cost, but there is not a significant difference, and they are all titled 65+.

I've had this conversation before, and there are some people other who have said they exist, but no one has ever shown a title or any type of proof of a "64.5" or "64 1/2." It's just Mustang jargon.

Yes 64 1/2 is a nickname. I thought they still titled those 64? Not to sure on it though

I will honestly say I do not know for an absolute fact. But I had some heated conversations on here long, long ago, and when I asked for any type of proof, no one had anything. The consensus (from that conversation, and those involved) was that yes, there were different versions, but all were titled 65.

If anyone can enlighten me on their existence, I'd like to know. I don't want any false info out there, I just want to raise awareness. On the internet, it's pretty hard to really prove or show credibility- but so far no one has furnished a 64 title.

Differences between 64 1/2 & 65 Mustangs
Thank you, this drives home the point very well. They are all 65 Mustangs, the 64.5 refers to the build date, clarifying it's equipment.
