Would she not have to have any physical evidence?

Depending town size ext. most cops have better things to worry about the a report of a careless driver. Especially after the fact.. If the didn't catch you chances are they won't come back..

I think my best option is to just not go back to where it happened and try and not give the police another reason to come after me. But in my town, a city of 665k you would think they have much better things to do.

Too many GOPROs out there to assume "no evidence."

Now days you gotta watch out!

I live in a relatively small town and my dad has some influence. All of the police officers know me personally. So one day I pulled into the lot at the park to meet some friends and lets just say that everyone for half a mile around knew I was there so later that day I found a business card from the police department in my mailbox and it said to call about my mustang. Apparently someone called the police on me and made a complaint that I was doing donuts and burnouts in the parking lot.... But I wasn't! I arrived with my exhaust very noticeable and left about 2 minutes later with some friends... The worst part is that the call was from the guy across the street who's sons do donuts in their camaro s and challengers everyday in that same parking lot

Moral of the story... The police just told me to be more careful because there was no evidence that I burned out

Which also isn't very concerning. Unless you think it's a malignant tumor.

Maybe in your area, I've never seen a GoPro on a car or bike except for once at a car show.
