Keep your head up man, I had to work pretty hard that last year of college to get where I am now, and I'm sure you're doing the same.

well thats the problem ive been getting 25-30 hours and now all of a sudden they cut everyone's hours and im down to 10 this week so i searched around for a few jobs and i have an interview monday scheduled and the store is basically the same pay and seems like a overall better job to have. so on monday i will find out how much hours are available at the new position. it just got me really depressed these last few days stressing about money and worrying if i will have enough to pay bills its just a very sucky feeling. my family and friends are great i have the best parents in the world my dad supports me no matter what in everything i do and gives me advice with everything in life my girlfriend is always there for support as well. i am just really stressed at the moment with being strapped for money and hoping it turns around quick for me
Nothing wrong with asking your friends for support and encouragement. Good friends will push you, and get you to try new things you've never thought you could do!

But the bad part about that is that you find out that your friends are not really your friends when you need them the most.

This is exactly right. The word "friend" is thrown around. A real FRIEND will be there when its u, and ur broke and alone with nothing to offer them but conversation.

My turn for help, lol. Most may know that my mazda died. That being said, I still have a year left on payments for it. I am in no way, shape, or form capable of buying a used engine considering they range from 1200-2500. If I didn't have a payment or insurance I could save up to 400-700 a month, depending on my other bills. Quite frankly, I'm tired of driving around in my moms car since my sister took back the stang to drive. What are some options since I seem to be battling this alone?

Fix it your self? Pull it and have a machine shop line everything up and put new bearings in it

The mechanic that looked at my car just told me to get a new engine. I'm guessing he figured it would be cheaoer to do that than have a rebuild.

Check ur insurance policy. If its financed, u might get one with a very little to no increase in premium. That's what we pay for full coverage for and why lien holders make u carry insurance.

Idk why it keeps posting twice but maybe if he did all the work but if you do it im sure it would be under 500 if all you did was fix the bearing

Last time I checked insurance only covers engine repairs as a result of an accident.
