Idk why it keeps posting twice but maybe if he did all the work but if you do it im sure it would be under 500 if all you did was fix the bearing
He's actually a family friend and was going to do the engine install for free as well as find one for me. As for taking the engine apart, I'm not experienced there at all haha

Honestly I wouldn't have it any other way. I like to be hands on, but I don't have the tools or the space to do that. And considering I work 3:30-12 every day, I would only be able to work on it on the weekends, that's if I don't have something else to do.

Its a lot easier to do than you think. If you can undo bolts and remember where they go you can rebuild a engine you could go to harbor freight and get all the tools you need for cheap you might be able to even rent you could probably lift the engine out with some jacks and a couple of buds

I know it can't be that hard, considering I wanted to be a mechanic. If I had some friends it wouldn't be hard to manage, haha. But tools and space. Things I just don't have at this moment. I've even had people tell me to just let it get repoed. Yeah, cause that looks good on my credit for my first car, right?! I'm just almost out of options at this point.

Me and my girl got some fish a while ago and when we got home one the fish weren't doing so well and she was gettin all sad and after my girlfriend went home it died.... And i just went to the store and got a new one and told her the fish made it and was doing fine... Is that mean?

If a fish were to end your relationship then you have a lot more problems. Haha

It's not about a fish, it's about the truth. I would have lied too tho.

Was it a lie or was it being a protector? We're u only protecting her feelings? That's what we are designed to do, be the protector. If she hates u for it (we will never tell her btw) then she would hate us all.

It'll get old. Just never reply to anything and make an ex, a true ex.

I'll check up on my ex every once in a while, just to make sure she hasn't killed herself yet.

Hey doc. '07 convertible here. I want to change my done lights but I can't get the housing off for the life of me. I know you're supposed to pull down hard but it definitely doesn't seem that way. Ideas?
