Got laid off .... pretty bummed over it, I understood why I know it's a numbers game but it still sucks though. Went for a cruise felt a little better but the realization of alot of things that change now has me pretty f'd up right now. Tryna stay positive for my wife and be strong but inside I really wanna spazz out. Times weren't hard but they weren't exactly lavish either I know it's gonna get pretty rough for awhile. #defeated

so the last few weeks i have been stressing about money as i told you guys so i decided in my spare time i should detail cars in my neighborhood. i had my first customer today, i think its great i love detailing it doesnt bother me, all of us who have love for cars appreciate it so i think it will be a great thing for me because it is cash and something i love to do and i have all my products at my disposal and when i need to i can purchase more but the amount i am getting paid sure makes up for the amount i will spend on products so im very happy. just finished my first customer i took pics when i was done, he had a 95 S Class Benz a pretty sweet car only 72,000 miles

I have over 15 yrs experience in retail/ manager of sales/marketing, the gig I got cut from was pretty much washing fleet vehicles. Thinking of starting my own car care/custom car fabrication service. Then I also have other talents as well club promotions/event planner from my musical side of things so I know ima land on my feet. This just makes me focus on getting my own thing started even more now and not relying on these b.s 9 to 5 jobs to take care of business cause they will never really pay me what I'm worth ...

The doc too suffers from addictedtomustangitus. There is so much that plays a part in the addiction. Passions, love, and greed just to name a few. Why can't we be happy with what is in front of us? I feel the need to not only have mine but most I see. I want that one and that one and that one.

It's what we put first in life that defines who we are. Not what we have. That's the docs words of wisdom on our addiction

Lol comparative to my income, I've spent way to much. But after my next purchase I won't be purchasing anything else for awhile. Anyone have a GT grille for sale? Preferably a boss 302 grille? :p

Oh man I wish I still had that one I bought last year. Full 11-12 GT grille with all wiring /fogs/ mounts I bought it for $50 and had it up on the wall.

Doc I have a severe case of the mod bug. I have been working a lot lately and my checks have reflected that. So every time I see a good deal I impulse buy. I have never been this way before. I always think my purchases through but lately it's a good deal I gotta buy it now kinda thing. For instance, I have bought two sets of lowering springs in the past month. I have two sets of PYPES Pype-Bombs in different colors. I bought a full gt conversion minus the grille, which means I'm gonna buy that to lol. I do like the fact that I have the money to spend and finally build my stang the way I want it but I shouldn't be throwing all this money away so fast and I know it but I can't help myself :'( :pulls hair out:

Too much of anything is not healthy. U have to find other things to invest in. Don't get me wrong, buying parts for the pony is never a bad thing but not in repetition. U can possibly recoup 70-75% of what u paid now but let's find u something u can invest in that your roi is 100%. I understand the impulse is as much visual as it it to buy things for the car. By that I mean u can actually see where u have spent ur money and its on things u love. Let's find u new things that sell for what u pay or better.
