About to go to work ;(

Anyone else dread the feeling of about to stand for 8 hours or is it just me? Lol my favorite part are the small breaks.

Nah, I like my job.. Its different everyday.. driving to random people's houses or businesses.. fixing the air conditioners.. hoping the customer is a hot chick The only thing that sucks is the Arizona heat, but if it wasn't for that I'd be out of a job so I'm thankful for the hot weather.. I can handle it anyways, its just that swamp *** sucks

+1 same here love my job, HVAC apprentice, were
mainly commercial so more rooftops than crawl spaces here , I love come summer, much prefer the heat on the rooftops than in the winter with the freezing cold winds we get here on the water..but winter or summer, I'd never trade what I do for a living.

My job isn't too bad. Most of the time it's kind of fun, the people are pretty entertaining. Downside is that my 2 bosses are a husband and wife and are VERY moody. Never know what the heck mood they might be in or what small thing will set them off. Kind of keeps people on edge, but when they are in good moods its not so bad. I def have to stand almost all day unless I'm at my computer processing an order or printing off something.

Right now it sucks though, we had a ton of crap come in off backorder and have been EXTREMELY busy trying to get that stuff out. Makes the day go kind of fast but is pretty stressful.

I'm a counselor at a mental health facility, I love what I do because I never know what I'm going to deal with on a day to day basis.

I work through staffmark at a company called modine they make and sell oil coolers and radiators for caterpillar and John deer. My job is to inspect them and straighten literally thousands of fins that are bent because of idiots that move them and weld. And what's even worse is we are the last people who see them before they ship off for sale. We have had a few that had a set of different fins and all the people before us didnt give a crap to report it and they have to be laid to the side. It's 8 hours a day standing in the same spot doing same thing. I get $10 per hour which is better than a full time minimum wage but I'm stuck at that with no raises. But it's a temp job until I go back to college In August so I can't complain there :/

I make parts that go into john deere diesel fuel pumps. We also make filters for almost every brand on the front line gm, ford, land rover, cat, john deere, and I'm sure many more. These people don't understand a thing they're doing (management) we've lost over 70% of our demand since the beginning of 2012.

Sometimes the tips aren't worth it though. I hate working 15 hours a week at this job, I would rather have a boring one that I could work 40 a week at. I mean the tips are nice, that's what I use for my daily spending money but is rather have a different job lol
