Who's seen this new show on tv? Lot's of hot rod chevy's and one pony car. Even
an old hot rod pickup. I like this new show, anyone else?

Yes I like it

Of course I like most of the car shows even the bad one's. You have to remember that this is a show and not exactly the way they really do street racing. I was once a top street racer back in the late 60's. ( I raced from Baltimore to Long Island. ) List, What list? Money won was our list in those days.

It is pretty neat to see some good old American cars and the story line is fun.

I do gotta say I like the show.

Ronnie

Meh...watched the first episode and deleted the rest from the dvr. Too much talk, not enough race.

Like I said.

It is a TV show Not really real life but A TV SHOW Does anyone really think they can trailer cars to a street that has no other traffic on it and set up a bunch of cameras and mike booms and lighting . Run those runs and not see another car or cop.

I may be stupid but I do still like these shows. After all, I still think the original 1974 " GONE IN 60 SECONDS" staring H.B. (Toby) Halicki is the very best car chase movie ever made.

I agree there is nothing real in these reality shows, anytime you put cameras in peoples faces and throw money at them the realness is gone, but it is a car show

The real gone in sixty seconds is nothing like this reality show. 2 and 3 are ok but even the remake bites. I swear I was born in the wrong generation.

The original "1974 "GONE IN 60 SECONDS"

Will probably never be topped. A 30 foot high 180 foot long jump and the Mustang still was used after that. If you have never seen this you need to go to Amazon and get it. The original and NOT the remake staring Nick Cage.

I was born in the "PERFECT" time and got my drivers license in 1959. ( About three years after I started driving)

Those were the golden days of American living and the best car age ever.

I agree reality TV ruins a lot of shows. Back in the day, helicopters were rare and we could run
from the cops, especially at night. Today there are cameras everywhere! Try speeding on a freeway, the cameras will alert a patrol, and Wham, your busted, night or day. I burn through
the twisty's on coastal backroads where there are no cameras, very little traffic, I am lucky about where I live. I really am enjoying my "Electronic Hot Rod" on the Texas coastal bend.

The old pickup truck

I]About the only real street machine seems to be "FARM TRUCK"s old pick-up. He seems to use it as his daily driver and haul his dog around. He drove to his race for 9th place and drove it home.

Some people say this is a goofy show and I agree but I sure do like watching it. I guess I just like goofy shows such as,
Ice Road Trucker
Car Chasers
Car Crazy
Pimp my Ride
Wheeler Dealer
Just to name a few, Of course there are many more that I watch.

I know these shows are absolutley 100% real and not edited at all. ((HA !- Ha !)
but they sure are fun to watch.
