Anyone from COLORADO?

I'm thinking about buying a house in CO canyon city? I guess just wondering what it's like up there and just any insight, I'm getting the house for 27k if I buy it and it was apraised at 86k. Long story short if my grandma doesn't sell the house shell lose it to the bank..

Buy it either ways. It's your grandmother, help her out!

Colorado is a beautiful state in my opinion, I haven't visited a lot of states. But Colorado does have a nice roads I ever drove on, fun, a lot of peaceful feelings.

+1 Great roads (mountain roads are fun)
Plus, we need more stangs out here. Feel like I'm completely surrounded by imports.

Hehe it's right on the edge of canyon city 20 min from pueblo and 40 from CO springs.. If I did I would bring my mustang and the girls.. My 93 cobra may have to stay home or find a new home..

It's a nice two bedroom house in good shape but needs a facelift 95% cosmetic.. A single detached garage.. Which kinda sucks.. And small for that matter.. I would probably work at one of the prisons because I will have my degree in Criminal justice..

If you move here then I think that makes a sum total of of 3 guys from Colorado on here. I've heard there's some great roads near Canyon City. One work of advice, if you don't have a winter beater then get one of at least invest in some winter tires.
