In on that pypes master race!

Speaking of which when they get here I'll probably need some tips on how to install these bad boys!

Welcome to the dark side...

WD40, patience, and an extra set of hands...everything else was pretty straight forward.

It's pretty straight forward! Hardest part was getting the stock ones out & getting the pypes to be centered. Just take your time with it u'll knock it out easy! Keep us updated!

I love my pypes. I got the black ones maybe a month and a half ago and I love them. And they aren't a bad price. Me and my friend both got ours on the same day so we knocked them out in like 2 hours or so.

Clamps right?? If it is then I just folded them back & forth till they cut off & then scraped them against the ground so they won't be too sharp!

Holy crap!

Installing this was a breeze!

I had a much tougher time taking the stock mufflers off but once that was done installing the pypes and loosening up the mid-pipe to adjust them was EASY!!!

They sound awesome, drone a little but not bad!

I'll get a video up in a bit, getting a haircut now!

AWWWWWWW YISS!!!

Okay, about a week in and I have a problem.

Rattling...BAD.

Sounds like the mid-pipe is rattling at ~600, 1100, and 1800RPM.

Anyone else experience this? It's actually louder than the exhaust outside of the car...and inside...ugh.

(Random note...seems like it's mainly the passenger side...and mainly when I have someone else in the car.)

I'm back at work in DC until Thursday night so I'm just going to brainstorm a fix this week and go at it this weekend.

Still sounds beast though!

Could just be a clamp or something loose. Should be an easy fix. Gettin it in the air will be harder than fixing it lol.

Its the center pipe clamps get it up in the air and tighten both of those really well those clamps suck on my car too. Maybe some loctite, its like once you get them loose they never go back tight! Also welcome to the pypes bomb crew!

You don't need an impact just use a 1/2 ratchet and loctite

Well I know where the rattle is coming from...

The passenger side inboard hanger pin is contacting the metal on the hangar. It's like it's too close and the vertical part is touching the metal which sends the vibrations through the car.

Any ideas? I took the whole thing apart and put it back together but it still crept back and is driving me nuts!

Well looks like I fixed it!

I needed to get a rubber bushing in order to prevent the metal hanger rod from contacting the metal in the hanger.

Pictures included.

If it comes back I'll use something a bit heavier duty.
