I had that happen about 2 weeks ago at a friends grad party, and about 2 months ago at a golf tournament

At a Street rod show

When the Wing House girls seek you out to ask if they can take a picture with your Mustang with all of the street rods and custom cars in attendance.

You know you drive a Mustang ( or a car you care about) when you go into the garage just to sit in it and listen to music.

I also do not let anyone eat or drink in my Mustang.
I had a friend call one day and asked me if I could pick him up from the Honda dealer. Of course I said yes. When I got there he was eating a Mickey-D sandwich and had a large drink. He got mad when I told him to gulp it down or toss it. He could not understand that I don't allow that crap or smoking in or near my Mustang.

That was a year or so ago, Now he has a Mustang and don't allow anyone to eat or drink or even touch his car. He won't even let his Girl Friend eat or drink in his car.

The only thing the wife and I ever drink in the car is an occasional bottle of water on a hot summer cruise with the top down. As far as eating, I don't know how anyone can eat and drive at the same time. If we are hungry, we stop and eat AT the restaurant, while sitting inside or outside at a table. I drive by so many people scarfing down sloppy burgers or drippy ice cream cones and I just don't get it. At the very least you could get it on yourself, at the very worst, your going to get in a wreck.

My friend Jerry had a Honda

Yep, A Honda with a fart can and all kinds of mods with a great paint job. He spent a truckload of pure $$$$ on that car.
***********************************BUT**************

When you got inside it was like the city dump. It actually stunk. The outside looked good all of the time but the inside always had empty cups, sandwich wrappers and crap all over the interior. Stained carpet and seats. He also let his girlfriend smoke in it.
Now with his 2013 Mustang none of that is allowed. His girlfriend don't like the Mustang because she can't smoke in it or eat and drink stuff. I did not really think it would last long but it has been almost a year and his Mustang still looks like brand new.

You know you drive a mustang when...

I only allow drink. As long as it has a cap, or it's something thick like a frappaccino from Starbucks. Nothing with a big opening so it doesn't go everywhere if I hit a bump. Now when I get my nice floor mats and upholstery re-done there will be nothing allowed.
