It does make me a bit sad, because I do like some of those old Japanese cars because of their size and weight, but I just do not like the crowd that goes with them. That crowd makes us all look like hooligans to the general public, which is unfortunate.

^ I've met some awesome ricer owners, most are morons but some are really cool/good quality people. I can say there's some ricer owners I'd rather go to car shows with instead of some mustang owners. But in every car crowd there's always those people that give them a bad name, such a shame...

You know you drive a mustang when...

Well to be honest I really don't care for any jap cars... The only two I like are in and over 6 figures, and one of them only two were made, but I like my buddies early 90s z car can't remember what year and type...
I guess three now...

I'll be honest, I've witnessed just as many ****** stang owners as there are Japan car owners. As far as calling them ricers, I've never understood that either considering I have witnessed people even on this site condoning huge wings, pointless windshield banners, brake covers, etc that are all useless. I say everyone support different makes as long as it's not some hellaflush crap or donks which are both stupid in terms of function and safety. I love when american truck fans talk about Japan trucks when the Japan based tundra from toyota has more American parts and manufacturing than the other makers lol. Just an example.

you know you're a mustang owner when you and your sister drive off to your honeymoon. Jk

All Right Famine

Don't be say bad things about my super custom Mustang.
With the super charger putting out 2,000 horsepower on my V6 it is the only thing keeping my car on the ground.
A lot of people look at the emblem and think it is a real Ferrari. Of course I won't tell them it's not.
I do like the bling of the lights on the bottom of my car. I also love my wheels that are almost the exact same color of my FERRARI.

Jealousy will get you no place. You can do the same thing to your Mustang. All it takes is a little photoshop and you can have a car like mine.

Hi etr3.7

If you think the jap car crowd is bad you need to hook up with a Corvette Crowd. I had a Corvette at one time and could not stand being around the Corvette club snob creepy members. I ended up joining a Porsche/Audi club. Great friendly people . I stayed with them when I got my Mini JCW. There were a few Mustang owners in that club too.
The Corvette Forum was not really great but a few of us Forum members did a in forum group called the Florida Misfits. I still have my shirts from that informal group.

I enjoy groups that have all models. Everyone tends to keep each other in line and are more realistic.

It don't work.
I mentioned this before on the forum , but I say it again for the new guys.

Bought my new Corvette
Went to Walmart one day.
Parked all the way across the lot in "NO MANS LAND" Not a car around.
Went into store --- Came out of store.
Shocked to see a beat up piece of crap parked within 20 feet of my Corvette with a nice Mexican Family of about four adults and six or seven stairstep children playing with a frizby right in front of my car. They had the Bar-B-Que grill out and cooking.

The man said he liked my car and did not let the children anywhere near it. I checked it and no frizby scratches so I just got in and left with all of the family waving goodbye.

IT IS TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND A SAFE SPOT IN A WALMART PARKING LOT

I now have a handicap tag, but there are never any empty spaces. My C.O.P.D. is much worse now so if I need anything from Walmart I have to go at 6AM to get a spot where I don't have to walk so far. And my Mustang is safe from door bangers.

Hilarious. I bought mine in October last year and it was cold out so I literally just got to drive it for the first time with the windows down a few weeks ago and it did scare the hell out of me. Thought I hit something. So funny. Stupid things like that. But rarely does anyone sit shotgun in my car anyway so it prob won't happen often.

Taking the long way home takes even longer because you drive up on two v6 Camaro owners measuring their d***s at the stop light before the on ramp and have to put them in their place.

You can hear the exhaust without looking and determine that is a Mustang and the approximate year of said Mustang.
