Is this still a Mustang forum?

Hy is it that on this mustang forum site I keep seeing threads pop up for Camaro's, corvettes and other cars and the op's asking for opinions of them? I thought this was a site for fans of the Mustang? Yes you may call me a fanboy but isn't that what this site is for? I know if you jump on a Camaro's forum and start a mustang thread they will delete the thread and threaten to kick you off

Well we don't kick them off because we aren't jack a sses. Yes I'm a mustang enthusiast but a car is a car. I love the old camaros. They are truly badass. I give credit when it's due. The newer ones are completely stupid. Anyway what I'm saying is that there are sections on this forum where u may talk about other cars which is a good thing

I think it could bring more people in by having more options to talk about. Also by not deleting it doing what others do its kinda nicer to the people. And could keep them around longer.

I can agree that it does get old to see stuff about chevies and other piles lol (jk) but its not that bad to see a little other than mustang stuff around. its not the end of the world. pretty sure that saying "***** happens" covers your question/idea.

I'm not saying we kick them, we don't have to be ignorant like the Camaro forums but really if you want to ask questions or opinions of Camaro's or corvettes go to their forums and ask, we are here because we drive and appreciate the Mustang

I agree and disagree. But if we wanted to post something on another forum they would most likely be a$ses so it's kinda easier to do it here since we are nicer. I think it's alright since they are in the off topic

I don't think they would be asses if your asking opinions about their cars, biased and opinionated like we would be, I could see them bad mouthing other cars and them trying to talk them into joining their 'fold' lol

That's true. I think this site is doing fine how it's going unless people are really unhappy then they need to address someone.

It's getting tiring to me that everyday I open this forum and see a new Camaro or corvette thread and asking opinions and than when you get the normal response that this is a Mustang forum you always get the ******* response of 'fanboy' or 'close minded' we didn't join a all car appreciation forum we joined a Mustang appreciation forum, appreciate Mustangs or at least other Fords

I understand that a 100% that's why I stay away from those and don't even look at them. Honestly like you said if they want opinions on different cars they are gonna get nasty responses from die hard ford people.

Seriously? Lol we don't wear white pointy hats around here. I think the obvious reason why we are all here is that we all have mustangs or have had mustangs. 90% of the threads are mustang related. If you don't want to be called a fanboy or a jerk, then don't go into a camaro thread and whine about how no one is talking about mustangs in that thread. No one is asking you to sell your car or anything, so why can't we all just get along? We all different and relative experience and sometimes it's nice to hear someone's opinion on a different car , who also is on the fence about owning a mustang, or talking with people that owned different cars and understanding what they liked and didn't like about them and what made them choose the mustang. If you don't agree that this a point of view or opinion you can't really find if you search a camaro or challenger forum, then I don't know what to tell you. Maybe, You should just stay out of any thread with the word camaro, corvette, challenger etc on.

That guy is a Negative Nancy, if i've ever seen one myself. All his posts are bashing on other members, or criticizing someone else. Perhaps with his attitude he should sell the stang, and hop into a camaro, where his attitude will blend right in.

I belong to the Dodge Challenger website and they get upset at all the Mustang threads.

I will be blunt....if you dislike the forum mcnasty feel free to log out and seek a real mustang forum as you put it. honestly every mustang forum I'm on has a general car section. we accept all types of mustang fans here not just fan boy purist. this is literally the best forum I'm a part of because of that attitude. nobody wants their love of non mustang vehicles to be made fun of. if you decide to stay remember you can bypass the general car section. if not... ... peace out and hope you find what you're looking for.

You know, I'm glad McNasty started this thread. I belong to over a dozen forums. I own 4 vehicles. A Nissan, a Chevrolet & 2 fords. I repair and modify all of them. While most of the tech stuff and write ups I share with the corresponding forum, I also share my experience with all my cars here, with all of you. I've gotten to know a lot of the members here and I spend most of my forum time on this forum. So yeah, this is a Mustang forum but it's also a people forum. When a member sells his or her car and bids us a farewell, we don't tell them, "See ya! And don't let the door hit ya on the way out!" No, we invite them to stay because we are that kind of forum.
