Damn Chevys... Sorry for your car, at least everyone is ok... Please tell me that Corvette owner's insurance will be buying you a new car.

Sounds to me like op is at fault. Hopefully his insurance will be buying a new corvette.

How could he have not see you sitting there if you were sitting in the middle of the intersection? Sounds to me like a ran red light on one of you. Glad both are okay but whoever ran it deserves their insurance to go up being a reckless driver.

It is legal to go through an intersection on yellow, as long as you are completely in the intersection before it turns red you did not run it. And in the 2-3 seconds max he was probably in the intersection after it turned that corvette had to have either been planning on running that red or it launched off the line to get that much speed to T bone him. And the braking power a corvette has should have been able to stop the car if it was at a reasonable speed and the driver was paying attention.

I stand by my previous thought.

I will note that we only have one side of the story right now, it is impossible to tell who was truly at fault since we were not there.

He wasn't stopped at the intersecting there was three lanes and the furthest to the curb was empty with the rest full of cars he couldn't see me turning. As he was coming down I was just finishing the turn and it turned green and he punched it soon as it turned green flew into the intersection and hit me.

Didn't mention he had no registration, expired plates and expired insurance. Owns a used car lot and body shop where he'll do his "own" repairs.

Wish people would just pay attention and chill out and there will be zero wrecks.
