I hated the first few movies due to the rice factor. Rip to mr walker though, legit dude.

But I agree with those above, 12/7 is for Pearl Harbor.

Yes, absolutely agree, that's why my engine revving will be tomorrow.

I don't need a day for an excuse to run my engine up. Although this cold weather and my 555Rs do not mix...

Blargh already mentioned Heath on the last page. And again, my first thought was "omg did he finish filming for The Dark Knight?!". Call me a dick if you want lol.

Universal is gonna make a killing when Fast 7 comes out though. I'll tell you that. Sure they're sad that he died, but the corporate bigwigs are gonna be rolling in the dough

I hoped it was but you know, we gotta go by what the media tells us because other than being eyewitnesses, it's the best we got

I just hope that some of the profits go to his daughter and his charity. It's the least they could do

Hell, last time I was in NYC I saw some 20 something girl crying over John Lennon's memorial in Central Park. Lol, not even alive when the guy died and also if you research him he was actually a complete ******* and a terrible father. But I digress.
No I did not personally know him but that does not mean what he has done has not influenced me. If it wasn't for him and the F&F movies I probably would not be into cars like I am today.

Barely any media coverage about it. 1 actor dies (not even necessarily this instance) and media blows up like Jesus came back to earth and the rapture is starting. 12/7 is a Remembrance Day for those troops that died in Pearl Harbor. God pick any other day, even Christmas and I won't care. Not the anniversary of Pearl Harbor to "remember" a actor that died 11/30
So you are saying the countless holidays we have set aside for the military people are not enough? We can't just take a single day to think of someone else who died? It seems like every single ****ing person that dies it's always "don't forget the military", guess what. They were never forgotten, but maybe sometimes there is someone else to think about. I respect the military but they are not the end all to respect that is deserved. Yes they protect our freedom (technically, our freedom is protected by the constitution not actual people) but there are also others to think about. Yes I may not entirely agree with the day that was set, but that doesn't mean I can't think of 2 different parties during the same day ---------- Post added at 11:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:54 PM ----------

yes, everyone does forget about the military. Not once have I ever seen a uprising like this for a military member that passed tragically. People forget about military all the damn time. What's so special about Paul walker that a solemn day such as December 7 has to be encroached upon in such manner. I liked Paul Walker as much as the rest of you. But no one means more to me than my brothers and sisters that came before me and those that will come after me. Any other day could have been chosen to have a remembrance on for him but they chose a day when many more important people died without any mention of them.

His name was Roger Rodas, he was a former race car driver and a business partner of Paul.

I'm sure with it being a performance shop there were marks all over the road. Also, with the two people who were in the car, I'm sure police definition of "wreckless" was more than achieved.

Hell the other morning on my way home from work I recklessly operated my Mustang even though I was in control entire time.

The guy was cool and all, but I be the wouldn't bat an eye for anyone else. People do it for show. If I'm mourning I tend to do it quietly

I really hope you meant to word that differently. Are our troops not fighting to defend our Constitution? Which is what gives us our freedom, and it also states that all men and women are created equal. Now saying that the military folk are more important is in my opinion way more rude than remembering someone on a certain day.

I love the military and what they do as well. But I do not believe anyone is more important than anyone else.

Sure i did not pick the day, i myself thought of why they picked that day as well. But if that is the day a group of people set, i will go by it. It would be rude not to think about him that day when many others are.

I have to say, that car was toast. And the news reporter mentioned that the investigation points towards speed as a factor...you think!?!?

A waste of a good person. Way too young.
