People with guns in movies

Has anyone ever noticed in most movies when someone has a gun to someone's head that they rack it back to show them they mean business? All that would do is piss me off to know someone just had an unloaded gun to my head that whole time ha. Either that or they are wasting that one round on the floor.

Yeah I agree! It truly is stupid!

I mean on a semi auto pistol you can move the slide back far enough to show a loaded round without sliding it all the way back and ejecting a round

But I guess that's Hollywood for ya

I have a tendency to count how many times people pump their shotguns before firing. Also how many shots people take with revolvers without reloading. You can't go on a seamless killing spree with a 6-shooter, Hollywood. Stop it.

Yeah the 6 shooter sprees are hilarious!

It's like I'm gonna 12 people with 6 bullets and not reload lol

Or the 3 to 5 shots on the double-barrel w/o reloading

I hate it when they rack the slide to chamber a round and then cock the gun a few seconds later. Yeah, they could have decocked it, but they never show that.
