That's why my primaries are 40 and backups are 380. Never had a problem finding either. I don't own a single 9.

You can get a larger frame 380. Mother in law always carried her walther p338. Never had a problem with recoil. Pocket guns are never fun to shoot but get the job done.

My wife even carries a shield 40 bc the small 380's aren't easy on you.

Nah. I have a Taurus PT140 on my side right now. Just a good carry gun. What i'm carrying any given day depends on what i'm doing...but I always have one on me 24/7.

When I turn 21, I'll be getting a CC permit, and buying a Smith & Wesson MP40c. I'll be OCing a Beretta 92 until then. Yes, OC in VA is legal at 18.

It's legal in 26 states at this point I believe. Should be legal in 50.

Just be aware of your surroundings as it can make you target. The tactical advantage of cc is nice when legal.

I'm an idiot to the law requirements here in az. I've googled for days but can't exactly find a straight answer. What steps does one take into buying a gun and getting a permit. I have no felonies or crazy lol does that help?

I'm pulling up az law for specifics for you. If you go through a ffl dealer (gun store/shop) you normally fill out the paperwork. They call in the background check and you wait any waiting period(varies by state). You then pay for and recieve the firearm.

Here in MS I fill out the form, pay them, and recieve the firearm. No need for background check with a cc permit. Normally a 10 minute procedure on a slow day.

I hope it doesn't sound stupid but the permit is a one time pay thing or do I have to renew it.

Thanks lol maybe I just didn't Google it right. Growing up in a rough neighborhood I feel the need to have one but I'm not one of those shoot first ask later people. I have shot guns, rifles, shotguns but out in the middle of no where and I will be going to the shooting range before buying a firearm cause makes no sense having one if I don't know how to aim

Here you go:
http://www.google.com/url?q=http://w...ZyeLR0ETnM73iA

Download that pdf and learn it. Arizona is a constitutional carry state, meaning you can conceal carry or open carry without any permit requirement as long as you meet the criteria for owning a firearm. There are places you cannot carry and that link explains them to you. Arizona does still offer a permit process that allows you a few more places you can carry.

As far as purchasing from a ffl in az.
18 to purchase long gun
21 to purchase handgun
Gov issued id (drivers license)
Fill out gov form 4473
Background check.

Once background check clears you can pay for and receive firearm. No state waiting period.

I recommend finding a reputable gun range or training facility that has firearms for rent and try several before making a purchase. Would also be a good time to take a basic handgun safety and training course.

I agree with everything you said, I'm only going to OC sometimes anyways, depending on where I'm going.

Yeah buy some rounds and fire as many as you can at the dealer if they offer that. I tell all my guys never buy a gun off of someone's recommendation. Don't get me wrong recommendations are good but everyone's preference is different from how the weight it to just how it feels. Good luck finding one.

Yes. Most states have the ability to only regulate cc. They have twisted words to regulate oc but we are gaining ground.

I couldn't imagine not carrying anymore. I would never just pull and shoot and ask questions later. I've never even pulled my glock. Just knowing I have it here in columbus makes me feel safer for me and my wife. There's some crazy things going on in this world. Not to sound like a weirdo but no one is going to tell me I can own any of my weapons. I also remember the days when picking up ammo wasn't a hard thing. I never thought I would see the days where ammo shelves were empty
