I have been doing these taxes stuff since a very early age as well, we get used to the long hours after a while they become a routine and done seem so long anymore, at least for me
But hey we have to do what we have to do as long as we have that cash to spend on our babies 👍 lol

Here's some cargo we transported on one of my last flights before I took the desk job...

That was when Obamaphone went to Germany last summer. Stayed in Berlin for 4 days, drank a lot, partied a lot and that wasn't the best trip I was on either. I really probably should have kept flying lol. I might be able to get back on it next year or at least become the manager of the program and then get to go once every few months to keep current.

I need to get some pics of Tel-Aviv off my phone. I have never seen so many gorgeous women in one place in my entire life. That was probably my best trip honestly... that and getting "stuck" in Northern Italy for 4 days. "Oh no Venice is an hour away and its Carnivale what are we going to do?" Lol.

So tell me Scotty, on those presidential trips does the secret servise bring the hookers with them when they travel or do they always use the "local talent"?

Or... is that information "classified"?

Well there is no room in the plane for hookers although I have seen some pretty wild pictures on smartphones from them and transient Army guys who aren't going to have a beer for the next 9 months so they try to get as much in in 1-2 nights as they can lol. I know another guy who had the job I did who was somewhat of a hooker... "aficionado" and probably should be kicked out but at least his wife finally got wind of it and is currently divorcing his ***.

Nah, nothing classified about those pics. Funny thing about this trip was that I usually get some floor space upstairs in the jet to pass out with one of those camping mats but didn't that time and the only place left was right by the front passenger's side wheel of one of the BEASTS (limos) so I slept with my back against the rim lying down for a good 3-4 hours. Surprisingly I slept pretty well.

I'm a machinist at large well known company. I do a lot of finish machining on steam turbines. I'm currently machining a process where I remove excess material so the unit will fit in the shell. When this steam turbine is finished it will cost the customer about $10,000,000. The amazing stuff about my job IMO: The lightest job I've worked on weight a mere 30 ton the heaviest I've worked on was 268 tons. Some of these units when complete and joined with the other steam turbine and gas turbine will produce way north if 100,000 horse power.

That is a gas turbine rotor. A lot more stages and man hours go into building one of those. The buckets alone probably cost more half of the $30,000,000.

That's crazy. I prefer when the customers don't tell us how much stuff costs, lol

Two questions doby:
Do you think that there's any way that I could shoehorn one of those into a Mustang?
Is that 100,000 hp at the crank shaft or the wheels?

That's amazing! Do you build all of the pieces "in house"?

One of our jets is over $250 million lol. There is a reason there was such an uproar over how many of them congress was pushing to order a few years back. Boeing is in the process of finishing up the last run C17s currently and AFAIK we won't be ordering more.

I work for a general contractor. I'm responsible for putting together the hvac and plumbing estimates which can be upwards of 10 million dollars for the bigger jobs we bid.
