Lol maybe! I don't know much about the Otterbox Armor case, but my Defender case for my Galaxy S4 does not slide easily, even sliding it on my desk it seems to grip a bit.

Keep in mind it helps to have a phone case that's not plastic. I have an otterbox defender series that has a rubber casing on the outside and it hardly moves at all when I put it there, even on turns.

Yeah that's where I put mine, doesn't slide at all with my otterbox.
