No matter what is said, in the end, They drive a 2012 Corvette and you drive a Mustang.

He wins.

As someone already said, his whip is a 2012 corvette, he wins.

However, that only pertains to cars.

Grab your junk and stand tall and say that your not trying to compensate for anything, and if you're prepared to get punched, wink at his wife or girlfriend.

The d-bag meter will be high but he'll either laugh or you'll get under his skin.

Isn't the median age of a Vette owner around 55?

Wish him luck with his mid life crisis. And ask him how it feels to be the only new-ish Corvette owner that knows how to use the internet. Or how his family got through the Great Depression. Or why does he drive a '12? Couldn't afford a '14? If it's an automatic, just hit him.

If she chose a 2V Mustang over a 2012 Vette she isn't worth keeping around anyway.

Eh, you see those same girls draped over a riced out neon lol. I don't really think anything of it except wondering why they just don't give up pretenses of being a "model" and go straight into porn. Most are probably strippers which is totally ok in my book.

From my experience kind of being in the industry, this is more than true lol. Real models don't do the typical slutty car shoots. Most of them just have a lot of followers on Instagram, Chive, or other social media....and those shoots don't typically pay very well, at least to my knowledge.

Fixed Or Repaired Daily lol. Like I said, "Obama Motors" and you win it just with that. GM has one vehicle, ONE that is worth looking at and that's the Vette. And the Vette might as well be its own brand. GM could go totally under and someone could invest just in "Corvette" and it would be successful.

Chevy like a rock. Normally I find rocks in the driveway or on the side of the road. I drive a Shelby and still get the Corvette people busting on me. Then I remind them they had to make a Fiberglass car to even think about beating a Mustang cause the camaro is not in the same league anymore. Then I just show them all the recalls on just about everything they make for

Truck (if you can call them that) May catch fire if
Cars may catch fire
Cars just stop running while driving down the road (this to me is really dead on the road) ignition switch
Blazers may catch fire
Camaro pays the fuel tax because they can't get the MPGs or the power the Mustangs can
and if that is not enough ask him to shift into second gear without modding the car. Seems GM puts a second gear lockout on the cars so people can save gas. There is an aftermarket kit around to override it. Must Vette drivers are not all that smart.

Ask why GM engines are so cheap to mod. Cause they weren't worth a poop out of the factory so all the aftermarket parts made a killing trying to get them worth anything. That is why Ford aftermarket parts are more expensive because Ford did it right from the factory.

The only GM product I would allow in my driveway is a corvette other then that they park in the street.

^Agree with everything except the motors being bad. The LS motor is one of the best ones ever made but the whole second gear lockout is so stupid I dunno why they even do it. Even my father, who is all about leaving his cars stock these days, sent his computer off to have the 2nd gear lockout removed and the fan set to come on sooner so it wasn't running around at 220 degrees all the damn time.

And yeah the current recalls are scary... like even for recalls and the fact that GM knew about it when it first was a problem... I will never EVER buy a new GM product and the only thing made by them I will ever consider is a 96 LT4 Vette like my father has, maybe a C5 or a WS6 Trans Am which were all designed/built before all this crap started happening. Although I can't say the build quality of those vehicles is great either lol. My father's C4 is pretty good though for being an 80s design.

Look at the 2007 Suburban engine problems seem right about 90K miles there is a little tick that starts then around 100K the lifter collapses I have friends that swear by Chevy and all of them have had this problem. I am not sure which engine it is but there new engines are junk.

That's the 5.3L right? I dunno there are ppl turboing those things to ridiculous levels on the stock motors with just a rod bolt upgrade and they are crazy. If they had a bad batch of lifters maybe that explains it but I dunno. I just know a cam only LS1 F-body is a 400whp car lol.

I assume the second gear lockout is actually the 1-4 skip shift?

If so, all you need to do is give it more than 1/4 throttle and you can shift to whatever gear you like. I have been in numerous Corvettes and Camaros over the years, nobody has mentioned it being an issue.

As for the fiberglass car needed to beat a Mustang ... seriously? The Corvette has been a fiberglass car since it's inception in '53. The Mustang didn't come out until '64. GM must have hired precogs to forsee that they would need a fiberglass bodied car to compete with an upcoming pony car from Ford..

You could also look back at the 80's 90's and early 2000's. The GM cars were so far ahead of the Mustangs that it took until the new 5.0 for Ford to make a car that was capable of putting down the same or better numbers with an NA engine (excluding Cobra R).

As for the current Camaro not being in the same league as the Mustangs... really? Currently, in a straight line, the Mustangs are faster (the V6 Mustang destroys the V6 Camaro, the GT and SS could go either way and the GT500 dominates the ZL1) . However, once braking and turning are factored in, the Camaro is faster than anything Ford has ever built for production, including the Ford GT supercar.

I find it rather amusing that the lowly Camaro 1LE with it's 426hp is faster than both the 2013 Shelby GT500 and the Boss LS around a race track.
