Conceal carry...

Hey guys I was wondering which one of these pistols you would carry concealed. Assuming you already own a full frame Beretta PX4 Storm .40...

1. Beretta PX4 Storm subcompact 9mm $575
2. Beretta PX4 Storm compact, .40 $550
3. Springfield XDS 9, 9mm $550
4. Glock G27, .40 $600
5. Glock G42, .380ACP $475
6. Kel-Tec PF9, 9mm $335

I'm leaning towards either Beretta or the Springfield. Curious to see your opinion on these firearms.

I have keltec pf9 I bought it to carry at work. It shoots ok it's very light and thin. But it feels cheap but that's why I carry it at work. I also have the beretta nano which is actually on me now. It shoots well small thin a little heavy for its size but I like the feel and build quality... I actually had it hard chromed by ap cogan. But my favorite to carry and shoot is my glock 30 sf. Super accurate big 45 cal. Cons though it's heavy and thick but I appendix carry so I can conceal it well. The gun you choose to carry is like an exhaust system everyone likes something different. I would go and handle each gun on your list. There all good pistols I am actually thinking about a glock 26 27 or a Springfield xds 45 as my next pistol. Good luck and remember practice practice practice...

If there were no guns there would be no crime

Ha! Ha !

I like my S&W model 37 lightweight 38 special. Easy to hide and light enough it does not weigh me down.
I also carry my North American Arms little 22 which saved me from being robbed a few years ago. It's just a nice little pocket pistol.

I sure hope you all are part of the N.R.A. because they seem to be the only one's safeguarding our constitution.
People don't seem to realize that if they can get the 2nd. amendment tossed in the toilet the rest of the constitution will soon follow. I don't think they care crap about guns but they sure want to unlock the constitution. Whats better for them then making firearms the key to busting our freedoms.

They already busted free speech. You can't give an opinion about anything without being charged with a stupid hate crime. I don't agree with what some people say but I sure think they have a right to say it. It used to be called "FREE SPEECH" and is supposed to be covered by the constitution but sure ain't any more.
Ronnie
Sorry for the rant but I have served and fought for our country and love the U.S.A. and hate to see it destroyed from within.

Out of all those choices I'd go Glock. Personally I carry a Sig P250. I like it because It has the modular option of changing the caliber from .380 to 9mm to 40 to 45 and it can go from sub compact to full size depending on the kit you buy.

Personally I feel a good conceal carry pistol shouldn't have a safety. I like the line up and heard good things about the PX4 as well.

Conceal carry...

Thanks for the input guys. I love the features to the Springfield XD. However I own a full frame PX4 .40 and already know the functions to that firearm. Chances are I will go with the PX4 9mm compact only because it will be just like the full frame as in the operation. But my mind is not made up 100%. I'm going to the gun shop next week to see the difference between the PX4 and XDS.

I agree with you that the .45 has more knock down power. But a 9mm is putting any man on his *** with in 7 yards. Reason I say that is because the majority of confrontations happen with in 7 yards, 21 feet or the length of a full size truck. Beside a 9mm has better accuracy at longer range.

XDS is very nice shooting gun. Balanced, and has a "sig" trigger. Really love it.
That being said, one of my favorite carry guns is my .380 Bersa. Not the same gun the XD is, but fits more comfortable while riding or what have you. Gotta be comfortable or u won't carry it. Yea, it is only a .380, but with todays ammo, and being a good shot, it is not a worry of mine.
Good luck,
Troy

Going to depend on your personal preference. I rotate between a Taurus Millenium pro 40, Smith and Wesson Shield 40, Taurus TCP380 & Masterpiece Arms 380. Just depends on dress and situation. All of them have their pros and cons and occassionally I swap in others.

Go to a local range that rents models you want to try. Find one you are comfortable and confident with. If both criteria aren't met you aren't likely to have it with you. It does you no good if it's not with you.

So are you carrying in just for the car, planning to under a shirt.....Carrying it under a suit jacket?

1) Under a suit, Glock-23, .40 cal 13-15 round magazine. The little glocks sometimes need a finger extension on the magazine.

2) Berretta Cheetah, .380 13+1. Easy to conceal and up close shoots very tight pattern.

3) The Glock-42 .380, only holds 6+1. Not enough ammo.

4) BERSA THUNDER 9 Pro, 9mm, 17+1

5) Walther P99, 9mm, 15 rounds

I always wear cargo pants made for concealed carry in right side leg pocket. FYI... NY restricts us to 10+1.
Thanks for the advice.

Right. The freaking idiot politicians and Bloombergs of the world do not get it... The area's with strict gun law/bans have the highest crime rates. Criminals do not want to go into an area where guns are allowed. Criminals are not looking for a gun fight. That's why these mass shootings happen in schools. If all guns are banned completely criminals will find ways to get them. Always have and always will!!!

Hey now!! The politicians make perfect sense wanting to ban our guns.

Meth is illegal and no one is ever caught with that stuff.
So is robbery, theft, rape, etc. It's all illegal so no one does it.

Same reason we don't need firearms with any kind of capacity.
You only need 1 bullet to defend your life. Haven't you ever seen the movies? Sheesh, gun toting Rambo's!
