I would have to disagree. A properly detailed car will be extra slick and therefore the air will flow right past it easier. Good for at least .3 in the 1/4

Good point bro. What about caliper paint? Do you think that would help with 0-60 acceleration?

No, caliper paint won't affect acceleration at all, that's all top speed.

I can't believe you all forgot about flames. Painting flames on your car (use house paint for the best increase in power) will easliy put you in the 8 second range in the 1/4

Here's another:

Adding 104+ Octane Booster to a completely stock motor and knocking a full second off your 1/4 mile time.

Alright, so now that we've got an arsenal of power adders at our disposal, whose got the best butt dyno here to test all of them?

What I usually do is strap it to my treadmill and set it to 10 and that gives me a real solid look at my gains

Stickers on the back bumper help too. It gives the person you are passing something to entertain themselves with, softening the agony of being passed by you.

I would say that a roof rack adds the most aerodynamic assistance just like a spoiler with about 400lbs of downforce.

Anyone try strapping a couple gas powered 220 mph leaf blowers to the back of their car? If so, how did it help your 1/4 mile times?

DUH !!!!

Why would you want to strap both of them on the back of your Mustang when you can hook them up to the air intake and have twin superchargers?

I thought the force would give you a good push, but I think your idea is better!
