Best place for sunglasses?

After once again losing my sunglasses on the floor after a turn for the 1000th time, I am wondering where you'all place your sunglasses. I tend to place mine in the nice spot they made for us (automatics) in front of the gear lever... and at least once a day they slide off and gets lost under my legs on the floor. I don't like using the cup holder and I always keep placing my sunglasses in the same place without thinking about it. Maybe a piece of rubber would keep them from sliding.

Usually on my face.... If not over my eyes then they are usually still on my head.

I haven't had a nice pair in over a year because all my extra money goes to the Stang, but when I did have them I had them everywhere I went,

The over head visor. I keep mine in a case, and tuck them in the center console (2012). I rarely use them, but the case is easy to feel and pull out with one hand while keeping my eyes on the road. They're not valuable glasses, just an old pair my dad has had forever. Actually, they really suck (lol), but I have keep my favorite pair in the Stang.

I usually wear mine. Put them in a plastic case and place them in the console when not in use.

Best place for sunglasses?

They have those little rubber mats to stick on the dash--but I won't leave them lying in the sun.
Try using one of the cupholders; the passenger seat, or wrap a rubber band around one of (or both) of the visors.

I just got my stang and this was one of the first things I noticed. I think iv seen sun glasses clips that go on a visor. Haven't taken the time to look yet. But when I get bored enough I'll look. For now just in the case in the center console.

My normal sunglasses are in the clip on the visor when not wearing. All my prescription sunglasses are in their cases when not in use. The are either on the pass seat or console. Reason for the difference is the prescription ones are a lot more valuable.

I've got 5% tint so sunglasses makes it way too dark haha but usually I'd wear them on top of my head in the car

I guess it could be a Cali thing, but I'll usually wear mine with one of the sunglass prongs (or whatever they are called, I'm tired) hung over my shirt.

When I do not have mine on, they are in the back seat, or passenger seat.

My 2014 GT came with two clips that connect to the sun visors. Perfect for holding sunglasses, registration and insurance papers. One also has a spot to hold a writing pen.

On my yearly cruise with the family, I hit the street vendors at a island we stop at for a pair of the copycat designer sun glasses, as the pair I bought cheap last year from them are all scratched up from the abuse they get being tossed around the car.

Mine usually end up in the center console, if they're lucky.

Passenger seat, cup holder or center console. Usually they're only in the center console when I get out of the car because they aren't cheap, and people break into cars over stupid ***** like that all the time.

I lose mine all the ****ing time... ugh... When I had Oakleys when I was still living at home back in the day, I didn't lose them for a year and a half until they fell out of my pocket outside and my mother "thought they were garbage" and put them in the garbage can 10ft away. True story... yeah...

Since then I get $16 Target specials and lose them it seems every other month. Which is why I keep buying $16 sunglasses. Supposedly our squadron is purchasing a ****load of military spec Oakleys with end of year funds. That would be nice...

Same thing for me. Cheap sunglasses always get broken or scratched. I think it's because they are cheap so we don't care about them. Then I bought some oakleys and ray bans and they are still mint a couple years later. I baby them so they last because I don't want to drop another $150 or so. Hopefully your squadron does that though. Nothing better than free!

Yeah the last free set we got lasted me 3 years before they finally broke. Funny thing was they just broke randomly around the house not when I was waist deep in a hydraulic system/wheel well or something.

This. I bought my first pair of RayBans back in 2008 and they JUST broke two months ago. I also have a pair of hand-me-down real Wayfarers from the 70s or 80s still in great condition with original leather B&L case and lenses. I got tired of losing the $15 pairs, so I got some that I would keep track of. Now 6 years later and I haven't lost a single pair.

Sent from church, because I'm out of cheerios.

I spent 350 on military grade Oakley M frames from us standard issue. You need a federal or government id to purchase from there, but I'm telling you guys. They last forever. And they're ballistic. I was a zodiac operator in 2012 in the south China sea (small recon boats you see in marine commercials) and going top speed against waves, riding the gunnel tube, smashed my face literally over a million times against stuff getting thrown around. Still have the pair. Plus explosions will not destroy lenses. Just frames. Soo you guys should invest in some ballistic Oakley lenses. They're tough as nails and they don't break from a sharp turn lol.

Lol we're mechanics. Now, I'VE been shot at because I did a stint as a flying crew chief which is basically aircrew and we flew into some really forward places. Most ppl don't.

Sweet. I'm infantry. I got shot at everyday. 15 days left and I'm out. But yeah for your shades, I'd just wear them on my face or on my head. Don't really need clips!
