I got A+ in welding 1-2, then A+ in FFA welding, but thats been a lil more then 8-9 mos ago and I need to get my own welder.. I used a Hobart AC/DC Stickmate in school, but learned MIG and Wire feed also, (and the simple one, Oxygen/Acetylene cuttin/welding) TSC (tractor Supply Co) has a Hobart AC/DC Stickmate LX 235 welder for $369.99 and a Wire Feed FarmHand 85 for $199.99 and can weld from 18 gauge up to 3/16" mild steel. anyhelp on what one i should get? I am going to be weldin stuff like tractor parts (mower decks, disc blades....) thanks.

Brazing like Oxy and Stick is going out. There not as strong a MIG and TIG.

Me and my dad have Stick, Oxy-Acetylene trouch/welder, and a MIG.

MIG is awesome, our Hobart does real well. Ours came with a cart and we had to buy the tank to go with. But if yours doesnt come with a cart, build one!
