Chevy and Ford have nothing of comparison to fight the Hellcats with, at least for the next year or two.

3rd party stuff doesn't count, Roush, Saleen, RTR, etc.. are not Ford.

I think when the RTR hits, they should compare that to the hellcat. They should throw sticky tires on it and do a pass. I see mid 10's easy which would outdo the hellcat. Ford is well known for putting too small of a street tire on their cars. Boost vs boost ford will make that hellcat irrelevant.

The 2016 Cobra is supposed to be revealed today. So I guess we will see.

By that same thought, why not compare a modded Hellcat against the RTR.

Compare factory to factory. Tuner car vs tuner car.

I bought it plenty of thought. The only comparison that would matter in this scenario would be the price tags. We know a hellcat carries a pricetag at 60k and the car has seen 10.8 on dr's. Props to dodge for that. we don't know the pricetag for the rtr quite yet let alone ford's comparable releases to come. I honestly could care less what umbrella a dealer car falls under. If I can order a 7xx hp rtr from a ford dealer the same as a hellcat owner would do at a dodge dealer then I don't see an argument to be had. Let the pricetags do all the talking.

My opinion on the hellcat is they are literally gonna be spinning the whole time and for what they are making it a 2014 Shelby gt500 would beat it cause it weighs a lot less and 0-60 is literally the same for both cars stock

I completely agree. Rtr uses ford racing parts anyway. The rest is cosmetic.
