is car modding as we knowing it slowing down?

I mean aesthetically, i know the sky's the limit with performance

but for example, i bought my s197 brand new and in less than 24 hours of owning it i had the wheels replaced, and the tail lights and side markers smoked.

but here I am looking at the 15 GT and I have no idea what I would do if i had one...the stock wheels look gorgeous to me (remember the stock wheels from 1995 GT? (i had one) ) And I wouldn't want to replace them just to make it different...would I?

looking at it the only thing i would really do it lower it, just to say its customized...(though the stance looks fine to me as it is) but damn i mean think about it, as the years go on, the stock body gets cool features like deck lid panel, mirror caps, HID lights...its pretty interesting!

I mean obviously you could throw on a body kit, and the sky is the limit, but I prefer a cleaned up OEM look, and the OEM look is so clean these days its mind blowing to me.

maybe its an illuminati thing and they want us to stop modding cars and have everyone look the same and the black box in the new models does more than monitor crash incidents...maybe they are sending brains waves to...er jk about this part lol

It's probably because you have access to such a large selection of parts for the past models compared to the brand new models. Everything is still being researched and developed for the 2015 body style.

I agree. My top 3 mods are all things pretty much regulated that Ford couldn't add out of the factory anytime soon. Being:

1. Loud exhaust
2. Window tint (has a lot of purposes for me, won't go into detail)
3. Aftermarket tune

Other than that the styling is beautiful as is, who cares for a CAI or TB that will get you 10 hp, etc. The stock wheels even look great and are way more durable than most aftermarket

yeah but those are basically body kit and makeover mods that can be done to any car, as i said earlier i was referring to mods that clean up the car, but the new ones look clean right out of the factory. Also, that doesn't look nice to me at all, which is why i keep a clean OEM look.

right on, not mention all horror stories i hear from people who got aftermarket throttle-bodies, and also how so many dyno pulls show a power LOSS with even the best Throttle-bodies on the market.

i am curious about your window tint though...sensitive eyes? or drugs and girl?

Yes, sensitive eyes. Living in the south, there's a ton of lifted Chevy trucks with those blinding HIDs coming at me in a lowered Mustang. Also loud, red, unique-looking Mustang = too much unwanted attention around my college campus. Not a drug person myself but women, yes
