Contrary to what some people think it wasn't the French and Indians fighting. The French were pretty smart and befriended the indigenous people. The war was between them and the colonials (British)

Uh...
British America vs New France...
1754-1763
In other words the colonists from both countries fought each other with support from their respected countries. The French were friends with the Indians which Indians helped the French. The cherokee help the British.
Long story short, British won France lost most of them went to Canada, and around 15 years later revolutionary war started...

And France was angry and wanted to weaken the English and helped us during the revolution.

Yes I'm well aware. I paid attention in history class. Plus I've watched many many many movies concerning both wars. Favorite movie is Last of the Mohicans (1993 version)

Wasn't one of the main battles fought over the forks of Ohio over which country would claim the land. Because it was potentially to be a good place to trade and control transportation with the 3-way river?

Correct, the French were heavily out numbered. They had less than 100,000 colonists compared to the near 2 million British colonists. So they relied on the Indians to help them.

You can go on YouTube I bet they have several videos about the war. And shouldn't you have a history book?

Yeah, but sometimes these history books can be bias or from one point of view. I like to get a bunch of aspects on a topic and approach it that way usually you find a history junky that actually knows their real stuff.
