Damn shame!

It's a damn shame a bunch of grown men can't get on here and talk about something they "encountered" with out someone closing their post!

You can just don't talk about street racing and abide by the forum rules. Pretty simple.

The rules really aren't that hard to follow, if you disagree with them why are you here? I'm sure there are other forums where street racing talk is allowed?

I didn't get the damn memo that you couldn't talk about a race on a forum about mustangs and performance mustangs where we build them to be faster! My bad for posted my encounter!

Well you can always find the sticky with the forum rules that you are told to read when you join lol.

Just keep your racing at the track where other people can't be injured.

I think most of us are into modding our Mustangs, making them more fun to drive, to show, some to race at a track or a strip and some to learn how to fix things.
What you described in your other post frequently leads to innocent people traveling the same roads as you, being killed or severely injured.
When you have children and a few more years of life, you'll understand. When you have wheelchair ramps at your own house for your daughter to get in and out, you'll understand.

OP, if what you encountered was on a "closed road in mexico", it would have been a different sorry lol

Really good point. That's all I can think about, actually. When I see some idiot try to goad me into racing him and he goes hauling off at an unsafe speed, I just shake my head. So freaking dangerous. Passing power is one thing. Triple digit speeds on public roads full of first-time drivers, people talking on their phones, people who may be drinking during the day or are over tired, and Prius drivers is just so dumb. One thing goes wrong and it's the worst day of your life.

Practice some restraint, be responsible and lead by example.

This message is for the OP. It's embarrassing how a "grown *** man" can complain about something so childish and immature.
Maybe it's because you're young and ignorant? Maybe you've never lost someone close to you because of a car accident? Or worse have someone close to you be paralyzed from the neck down from a car accident due to some punk *** kids street racing. If you don't like this forum or the rules that come with using this forum then please feel free to leave. That'll be one less ignorant punk on here.

Every new member gets a PM with a link to the rules and regulations. It is YOUR responsibility to read them. And a grown man won't argue about it either, he will just leave.

Damn shame!

It's not like street racing is illegal or anything. Oh, wait it is, go figure. Keep it on the track where it's meant to be not on populated roads where innocent people can get hurt or worse. Better yet go out and street race and suffer the consequences, your choice.

I think majority of us have raced on the street in our time behind the wheel.

Most of us know it isn't safe, therefore we don't boast.

I didn't read your thread. However you could just humbly understand this particular forum has decided to strictly avoid endorsing illegal racing. The reason they do so are null and void because it's their forum, their rules. Their stance is not to glorify a activity that claims lives of people stupid enough to do it, and that of the innocent whom had no participation.

A simple "I apologize, i know for next time. Now let me tell you about this race on a "closed" track" is sufficient.

A whiney ***** fit isn't exactly going to get you a many cool points around here.

Good luck in all your life endeavors and drive responsibly.

Why a street race? You know what the car can do. Take her to the track I'm sure you find an even match or maybe that didn't go so well hahaha. I couldn't resist. Don't take it the wrong way I did the same thing when I was 18 and stupid.

Nope, that post/thread will get deleted as well....
Mods aren't idiots and claiming it's a "closed course" in "Mexico" is still a street race. There isn't a clause in the rules stating that only street races in America are forbidden. Any street racing post/thread will get deleted regardless of the country it's in.
