Yes bicyclists can be annoying but when they are on the side of the road and obeying traffic there is no need to coal them out.

That guy is an idiot.

I also hate cyclists that do the whole "pack of people blocking traffic and won't move" thing. I understand that cyclists always have the right of way but when they start using that rule as a shield... Hate to break it to them that physics says the car always wins especially when its around a blind corner on a backroad and they are riding 4 wide.

You should see them in San Francisco!
They band together and create havoc during the commute, on occasion.

Same thing in Austin. Bicycle riders have more rights on the road then a motor vehicle.

The fact is the bill mentions safety one time. It is heavy on pollution. The Assemblyman who brought it to law got coal rolled on his electric car and he pushed to bring the EPA in on it as well. It is crap a person ticketed gets heavily fined and the EPA sticks their nose in on it. If it were safety issue points would be added to the infraction for a moving violation.

How can someone be fined for an EPA violation for rolling coal while burning bio diesel threw their truck?

scottydsntknow you have not addressed it was brought to law by a Democrat you keep talking about the Republican who voted it in. A corrupt "RINO" at that.

It is all about a liberal who got his feelings hurt from a coal roller.

After I got a couple post deleted and a PM from an admin to keep the political talk and name calling to a minimum i did. But scotty continues on his political rant with nothing deleted or his name calling post as well. Is there a double standard in here? Since I brought another post in with political talk today, I expect to see it deleted. But the admin should PM scotty and chastise him as well and burry this topic once and for all.

Maybe it's because of your attacking and condescending tone, you think of that? Scotty is presenting his argument in a clear, statement, and polite type of way. You come across much more hostile and volatile.

Those rude spandex clad ultra athletes who clog up our roads. Bicyclists really like to slow you down by keeping the three foot rule and I understand they need space but if your job involves driving then they get in the way invariably

I rode a bike once. When I was like 4. Then swapped peddling for a throttle at age 6 and never looked back.

Oh yes around here they think it's the Tour de France. I mean it's cool and all, but you don't need to ride six across and you still need to stop at the interactions.

D1STRRBD, this a mustang forum not a political forum. It just so happened that this thread's topic revolved around a state law. If you wish to talk about politics keep it civil. There's no need for name calling of the rival political party, or members of that party. Most here are Americans, that's what we are regardless of what party we belong to.

We have a lot of bicycle competitions around here due to our mountains and two Ironman competitions.
