I would love to see a new El Camino, just needs a name change and ls3 or lt1 power and a six speed tremec. All that for less than $45,000 and I would buy one. Hell, just bring over the Holden Ute as is just left hand drive and I'd have one. They do 0-60 in under 5 seconds, the 1/4 in high 12's and pull 1g on the skidpad, can haul an atv, motorcycle or about anything else in the bed and get nearly 30 mpg on the highway.

That would take some getting used to.

I always liked the El Camino/Ranchero concept though. Very useful!
The 59-60 El Camino is my all-time favorite.

Ok so it's a Ute with Camaro front and rear end? That's what it looks like, kinda...

Loved the old El Caminos and Rancheros. I'm guessing the people with SSRs in their garage will add one of these.

Falcons are very big in Australia, along with Holdens. But whatever, if they make the el camino, then good for them.

Those are ugly as hell. I'm a fan of the old ones though and those you either love or hate. I'm guessing it would be the same with these if they made them over here.
