Someone hit my car

Well the other day I pulled the car out and found a 4 - 5 inch scuff and a little bit of paint missing on my front bumper. I'm assuming it came from another driver in a parking lot. It just sucks when the car only had 6600 miles and is in a garage a majority of the time. And I spend allot of time washing, waxing and keeping it in the best condition I can. But I guess I'm more mad that someone drove off without trying to do the right thing.

That's how it goes man. That shart always happens to those who fear it the most. Every chip or mark on my car is from some other ahole cutting me off or in the past hitting me. Never self inflicted. At least it's only the bumper cover.

That sucks man. It's almost impossible to have nice things now days. Lol if the world was full of car guys and girls it would be a better place haha. Then everyone would have clean cars and parking places would have an empty space between them.

Wish I could say the same, I have a gash in my right rear quarter panel from hitting our mailbox. It was dark when I was backing out, and I didn't feel the car turn that slightly. Won't matter soon anyways. Only other blemish is some paint missing off the front bumper from where a guy hit me, just scraped off a small strip of paint. Happened when I was in class.

Ya it's just annoying and I used to detail so it sticks out to my eye. Gonna touch it up this weekend. And when the bumper gets worse from road debris or rock chips I'll eventually repaint it. Gonna put money away for mods right now.

The odds are stacked against us for hit and run type damage. If you drive a vehicle, its bound to sooner or later get tapped by someone in a parking lot that simply drives off. Only way I see avoiding this is to drive a beater to the stores, or to do the errands with.

I used to drive a 74 AMC Matador for this purpose. It had just the right "patina". Then one day I found a letter on the windshield from someone who wanted to buy it!

Yep...it was so ugly, it was cool. I used to use it to go campng; it would haul the big canvas army tent I owned, and would take me out to Ocala national forest. That was 30 years ago.

If I could find another for cheap, I'd buy it.
