Tuesday - arms
Wendsday - arms
Thursday - arms

I have a cousin that used to do that. His arms were huge but that's about it. Arms are for show.

I got into good enough shape to easily pass my PT test, then fell off myself, although I'm not any sort of muscle guy like some on here. Have at least not gotten fat or anything...

This forum helped me a lot in understanding how to eat: Nutrition - Bodybuilding.com Forums

Proper nutrition was always an issue for me, but if you learn how to eat, it makes everything easier.

I would highly suggest reading these sickies titled before posting any questions, if you decide to:
Calculating Calories and Macronutrients
For Anyone with a "Critique My Diet" Question...

Other than that, as long as you have a solid workout plan the only variable is time.

As a side note supplements other than the following are largely irrelevant and won't give you an edge over anyone else:
USP Certified Multi
Fish Oil
Creatine Monohydrate

And even the ones listed above are only insurance policies to make sure you hit your micros, if you don't eat fish, and the Creatine Monohydrate is just a helpful and cheap way to help with recovery. Just be sure you are drinking a lot of water.

Honestly if you don't have a good nutritional plan you're just wasting your time in the gym.

Was able to lift most of the semester pretty well. But this last 2 weeks has been hard to get to the gym because of work and school. Still got a few more pounds I want to put on.

Yes but weight loss is far more effected by diet than simply working out. Combined , they are extremely effective. The most basic way to look at it would be to consume less and burn more, but if you can only go for one, diet will be the winner. Check out If it Fits your Macro online. It's a good place to start to make a really sturdy diet based on your current stats , desired goals, daytime activities and work out intensity . If you're feeling particularly committed , nothing tops the Ketogenic diet. It's tough though. Less than 20g carbs a day, but when done right it'll cut you up

I ve done the very low carb diet, some days no carbs its not that hard, you just have to replace it with more protien, vegatables and healty fats to get your calories but it takes detication but when you reach your goal, you feel incredible I remember that lol.

I've been reading through this thread and it seems like your a pretty big gym junkie lol... Just curious what you'd recommend supplements wise for trying to bulk up?? I've just been doing the basic pre workout, whey protein, creatine and i just got some BCAA's anything else that helps at all?
Also just curious what do you mean don't be afraid to put your body through things people look down on haha? Like what.

Mainly a diet high in carbs and healthy fats, lots of clean calories.

Supplement wise.

BCA's are great to drink all day long.
Creatine
Multi vitamin
Pre workout
Post workout - something with lots of carbs. ( chocolate milk is the best )

A good weight gainer protein helps when drinking right b4 bed.

Right now I'm on mass tech and taking animal pack. Love it. I try to get a weight gainer with creatine blended in. It's probably all you need bc you'll just waste the rest if you take too much. I cut and bulk on weight gainer bc I just use it as a meal replacement.

This is all very true.
However don't buy a weight gainer instead make your own in a blender. Save money and know what you are putting into it.

For your carbs. Grind Steel cut oats and add them to protein and your mass gainer good ways to get those carbs 🀘🏼πŸ’ͺ🏼

What kind of work outs do you guys do? Like set wise. I've always done 12-10-8-6 adding weight each time but my brothers in the 5x5 (5 sets of 5 reps). Does it matter that much?

I think probably the best thing to do is keep it changing and don't let your body get used to whatever types of sets you do I have 3 workouts each for back bi, chest Tri, and leg shoulders that I switch every week about and I usually just change it up as far as what type of sets I do weather it be drop sets (12,10,8,6) 5x5's or like 4 sets of 8 with a heavier weight... But I am no expert this is just what I like to do... Also something that helps me stay productive and get a lot more done in the gym is super setting workouts that are complimentary to each other so like lat pull downs and some form of bicep curl! But that's just me, like i said no expert just what I like to do
