It looks like the love child of a 70s Mustang and a Corvette. It's possible that the Vette had nothing to do with that. If I was the Corvette I would have to ask for a paternity test.

They had an ugly child.

Only two built. It was a factory project that was ultimately scrapped; yes they were going to build it. Wish they did. I quite like it.

very interesting. I look at the back and originally thought Chally, then Mustang.

My final answer: I have no clue.

It's what was to be called The Yellow Jacket. Chrysler's Diamante concept car started as a Hemi Challenger R/T debuted in 1970 at Detroit. It received a very cool reception so they scrapped the project. Darn gas crunch in the 70's

Excellent. As with several concepts of the 50s/60s/70s some of the designs made it on a production model. The Challenger managed to get the Diamanté's taillights for 72 model year up to 74. And yes it's based off a 70 HEMI Challenger as Ox said. It's sister is white, only two production models.

I think when the lease is up on my SHO I'm "downgrading". The way I see it, this is basically just a Fusion SHO. Less weight and only a slight hit in power.

Taurus:
Curb Weight - 4,327 LBS
Horsepower - 365
Torque - 350

Fusion:
Curb Weight - 3,681
Horsepower - 325
Torque - 350

Talk about sleeper. Even gets better gas mileage due to the smaller V6.

Yeah, they're cool cars. Thanks to Sean Connery we have two convertibles and a Targa! Which look just as good.

69 HT Monaro 350, Australian Chevy. Those Ausi's have some cool Fords and Chevy's. Some of them are kinda strange looking to us Merican's but still righteous just the same. That Holden looks like it has some Courtina in it at first glance.

Remember the Ausi Ford Ranchero that Mel Gibsons screen wife drove in the first Road Warrior movie? Hot little thing with a 289. The car not the girl.
