although I admit the 80's were kinda hazy for me I doubt I would have liked the looks then.

I would have guessed heavily modified Fiero first....I know it's fast I'm just not digging the looks regardless of it's pedigree

There's some cool ones out there. Plenty of V8 swaps and manual transmission swaps. One has a 6.1 HEMI with a shake hood. Another with an LS7. Something pretty common with them is people take the front bumpers off and tire guards.
