Who's going out for their free Veterans Meal Wed

I typically go to my local Texas Roadhouse for a free lunch with my older brother every year. He's a vet from the mid 1945 era and I'm from the early 60's era. Yup before a lot of you were born.
The place is always packed!

I don't like accepting stuff like that. I don't feel like I deserve it.

There are so many older vets around where I live, I've always just chosen to sit out on the free meals out of respect for the older generation. My day will come eventually.

Thank you to all of you veterans. We wouldn't be able to sit on our couches and mess around on the forums so freely if it weren't for your sacrifice! THANK YOU men and women of our armed forces.

Let me know!

It would have been better to get some of the "thank you" when we came back from nam instead of being spit on. Guilty conscience playing on some folks mind i guess

Well I feel a bit guilty since I was stationed about 60 miles south of Paris, France (Orleans) for 32 1/2 months.
That was back when JFK extended the overseas tours of all troops in Germany and France due to the Berlin Crisis.
