What's up with Honda Civic owners?

All I'm doing is cruising in my car and as of late I get Civic's taunting me, reving the car when they pull up next to me, or behind me. I don't do that, what's up? One guy told me, "your car ain't ****" I just laughed and let him blow me away, equipped with a coffee can sized muffler, sure did make a lot of noise. Anyone else have this happen?

No sir, sadly there's no entertainment like that around here. There's very very little rice here, but everybody has a Chevy truck. I guess they are pretty BA cuz they always rev up and try to race me.

Never fails when I take mine out I get the same thing. They are just jealous and they think making you react and race them is a win in itself. Like you OP, I ignore them. I had a guy roll up to me at a light and say hey man lets go at the light. It was the crappiest 4 door Honda you ever saw in your life. I said sorry buddy, that's not worth the gas. That pissed him off and he proceeded to drop his clutch and squeak his tires for about .5 seconds and miss second and I leisurely passed him at the speed limit. Bahahahaha. They feel like they have something to prove. I say let em, it's funny.

One of these days I'm going to ask one of these owners why such a ridiculously large exhaust tip. I've seen some that were 6" in diameter.

I have not had any Hondas size me up at the red light yet. I have had a couple of Camaros and just about every Mustang that pulls beside me try to race though. Every now and then it's tempting. I don't care for the citations, fines, and higher insurance so I normally let them put on a show for me. I have heard dozens of different exhausts for comparison.

What's up with Honda Civic owners?

Just bc it's a Honda does not make it rice. Mustang owners are more rice than import owners a majority of the time. Don't let that little 4 banger #dragyoura$$ bc I know of a select few that will.

You will be shocked on what they can do.

Oh I know Iv seen a few that can certainly move. The majority of the time for me it's a beat up stock Honda Civic with an exhaust if that that revs up next to me.

4 in fart cans don't exactly scream "performance".

I have a couple friends back home with nice Hondas/Acuras, the ratio of rice to nice though is about 20:1.

New Edge and back non V8 models are riced out a lot around here too, simply talking about a majority.

Usually they are, the cheaper the car, the higher the chance of a buffoon inside imitating the Fast & Furious.

Heh, anyone here remember how bad it was when the original FATF came out? Every single person with any sort of 4 banger whatever car was putting fart cans on their **** and acting like total morons.

Actually not much has changed... And yes, there are many Mustang owners who are just as bad. Too many New Edges and SN95s with altezza lights and underglows and whatever the hell else... ugh...

Lol. Always get that crap from the Honda/Import guys around here!.. But then again I also get from everyone else too!.. Mopar guys, Camaro's, Mustangs, GTRs, the BMW yuppie crowd, all of them!.. Lol. The only ones that never seem to bother with me are the Corvettes and Ferraris!..

I feel bad for the guys who actually own well done Hondas and aren't revving at everyone. They must get a ton of **** because a vast majority of Honda owners are like the people OP has described.

Some 4 cylinders are sleepers though. He might have given you a run for it depending on his mods.

I think my Acura Integra made a max of 150 to the wheels. All of my money was in suspension. If I wanted to annoy performance cars, I did it in the turns and left them behind (temporarily). Every car has their specialty, but unfortunately most people don't realize what their car's is. That's when you end up with turds driving turds.

So basically driving straight was a no go for you. But you could slam down some hard right turns?

Driving in a straight line was all about gas mileage no speed there even if I wanted it. I could take sharp turns at 20-25 mph faster than I can in my Mustang and feel far less lateral g's.
