New scaly addition

Getting back into boa morphs.

Probable double het leopard and blood.

Boas are like puppy dogs. Very good pets and they don't get super big.

Used to have quite a snake collection prior to divorce.

Love the morphs although I never owned those. Love to see a pastel Piebald though!

I had:
(yellow w/ blue spot) green tree python
Amazon tree boa
Brazilian Rainbow Boa
White lipped
Asian Rat Snake
Red Tail Boa
Albino milk snake
Corn snake

Blue tongue skink
frilled dragon

at my house in the woods of CT we have lots of large Black Rat Snakes (5'+) that not only will climb/hang on the fieldstone walls of my house but here is a photo on one (medium 3-4') that shed on the upper track of my garage door. that track is 7' high

pics attached along with my fav Stang picture that was also in the folder.

Got the snake rack 3/4 of the way done. Diy plans I dug up from when I had these things 7 years ago. $100 and it'll hold 9 medium sized animals comfortably. Eff paying $200 for a terrarium at persmart. And that would just hold one... And glass tanks are the WORST enclosures to keep snakes in anyway.

Finishing it up tomorrow and I also need to get that irs out of my truck...

Living in Florida, we have our share of ill responsible owners of snakes that decided to release them to the wild; now the everglades are being way over populated with large snakes in the wild, literally destroying the natural eco system there.

Yours is small; I just hope it never gets released into the wild.

WOW, that looks like a lovely place to spend the rest of your life. That's one step up from living in a shoebox with some holes poked in it. WAAAAY better than an aquarium!?!?!? Looks more like a form of torture than a place for an animal to live

Lmao, look up rack setups and boa master enclosures. This thing is only a foot long baby and will get moved to a boa master when it hits 3 or 4 feet.

Snakes are not mammals, go learn yourself proper reptile keeping before you make a stupid comment. Again, glass tanks are the WORST form of housing for a snakes health and safety.

Don't worry I'm responsible and it also boas cannot survive winters up here for the jackasses that do just dump big constrictors.

Yeah I know all about the burm problem down there. They are here to stay unfortunately. And now I hear they are finding Nile crocodiles there too... Not good...

Horrible animal abusing reptile prison is finished. Its even got bars and everything. Animals will suffer mightily with easily maintained humidity, secure dark corners to hide in and being hand fed high quality frozen/thawed rodents. The horror.

I rank snakes right up there with spiders. Kill first. Ask questions later. Lol

I understand they are not for everyone. There are spider ppl who have a bunch of Tarantulas. Cept a spider will not curl up in your lap and enjoy getting pet like boas and burms do.

Guys are settling in great, we are getting more actually... Right now my sunglow girl is wrapped around my neck loosely and has been there for over an hour just relaxing. Likes being out and being pet. The big girl has claimed the top of my computer chair as a perch when she is out and she'll set there all day if I let her.

Again, not for everyone but no hair or allergy issues, take up minimal space, eat every 10-14 days and real real easy to clean. Also can leave on a week long vacation without needing a sitter.

I took this picture at petco and forgot to post it. The lady working the snake area said that they are breed like that on purpose.

walking along my house this wknd and from 20' away saw a 2-3' black Racer snake. It went into the plants along the house but when I got close to it 4-5' away it got spooked and flew out as if scared (it prob was). I actually heard it hit it's head on the steel cellar door hatch.

Agreed, snakes are awesome. Have 5 ball pythons coming next week. Going to make real nice litters for sale in the spring. Boas all ate today, they are doing well too.
