Quoting LOOOONG posts --- consider not doing so?

Hey guys --- I've noticed in some threads that people are either writing 8 or 9 long paragraphs (which is fine) or posting lots of pics (which is really fine)...........but folks -- when you want to respond to these threads, or something specific in the thread.........please don't just hit "quote" (which is not fine) that adds 17 inches to the thread and then comment with one sentence of your own.....
I for one, would greatly appreciate it -- if there is a particular statement in a long thread to which you want to comment........cut and paste.....thank you, rant over!

It can be in some posts...........and there was one such thread I was reading earlier today that sparked my asking this...........it's truly a PIA on your phone or iPad to Scroll and SCroll and SCROLL! just to get past unnecessary quotes --- especially when two or three people do it right after each other.

Well I am a dad. Not sure how old you are but I probably have a daughter your age. 22 and 19, so the dad jokes are relevant.

Lol, my daughters never brought boys around. They were too scared. They both live on their own now and still don't bring any around. They have had boyfriends that were too scared to meet me and my two sons.

I have a dead truck still. It does take up its fair share of room on the road though. I miss driving the quad cab Ram. I prefer to look over traffic than guess what is around the slow people in front of me.

My dad gave me his 2007 Colorado to drive in the winter. The difference between 2 & 4-wheel drive is HUGE!!

Why is your truck dead?
