Please Excuse and Forgive Me

This is just a fair warning. I may or may not post today. The future has yet to be seen. I should be having my wisdom teeth extracted in just a bit though. That being said; I hold whatever drugs that will be in my system responsible for any stupidity that I engage in.

This weekend should be amusing.

Hope everything turns out well for you. I learned the hard way not to mix Percocet and alcohol.....

No worries on that. My dad is enduring cirrhosis due to years of alcohol and pain prescription abuse. My pill chaser will be water, coffee, and tea.

I hope I can get away with Motrin vs any form of OxyCodone product. I want to do a bit of clean up and repaint to the brake and suspension compentents of my car.

Back when I had mine taken out I was given Tylenol 3 with codeine. But that was 24 years ago though.

Hopefully you don't wake up in the middle like I did... Apparently the anesthesiologist let my meds get too low for a second or two lol

I'm staying awake for the procedure. Should be fun.

Sarcasm at its best.

My body metabolized the anesthetic at an unreal rate.

I get to go back in two weeks for another round.

The legal dosage is 5 shots. I had 7 and the dentist said she would rather wait a week to remove the next one to preserve my liver.

I thought I pickled my liver into a petrified state in high school and college.

Kinda hard to tell jokes with your mouth open. Lol. This is me when I was having 5 lower teeth replaced with a bridge.

I did not have a brace in place. I was trusted to keep my mouth open. I talked when the dentist moved.

All is good. I'm not in pain at the moment. I'm swollen and completely wasted, but good.

I don't consider today's event a surgery. I have had surgery before, and it sucked.

That was my fault though. I had to have a hernia repaired. Let's just say I was not as strong as I thought I was. I used to own a locksmith company. While unloading a safe I noticed that one of my employees lost control of a safe that was still on the truck. It was at that point stupidity took over.

Without thinking I reached out to stop the safe as it was rolling down the ramp. I was trying to keep the two safes from banging together.

I was was successful in saving the safes. Neither had a scratch.

The problem was that the each safe weighed almost 2 tons. I was smashed between them. The doctor said my hernia was one of the worst he had seen. I was described as a frog that was squashed by a car. My insides were trying to get to the outside.

Believe it or not, the injury was not painful. The surgery hurt like hell. Then I was stupid and went back to work the next week. I also worked in my garage instead of resting while at home.

Please Excuse and Forgive Me

When i wrestled, my dad was always warning me about getting a hernia from heavy lifting, right?
which just made me say "huh?? you've never had a hernia.(???)"
& my dad would say, "yeah, & i don't want to, & neither do you"
He said it the other day when i dumped the garbage from our yard work into our roll-out bin.
my dad has a weird phobia about hernias haha

& i'm glad you're ok, & recover soon, of course,
but don't be dumb & over exert yourself

I've always wondered how the locksmith/safe trade works.
Couldn't you, fairly easily, crack into those safes that you sold?

There is not a lock or a safe built that can not be defeated. I used to receive frequent calls from Ft. Gordon outside of Augusta, GA to open their communication skiffs. Those things are nothing more than one large bomb proof safe used as a communication room. Somehow combinations were lost on a regular basis.

I can not only open the safe, but I can repair it back to the original condition. I miss that work some days.

Two full days later and NOW I hurt. I only had one wisdom tooth removed. I have to go back next week.

I'm not looking forward to that at all. My face looks like it was drop kicked. It feels like it has been too.

Yes, I'm whining. I'm a guy. I freakin whine when I hurt, or when I'm sick. Lol

My daughter has 15 adult teeth that never materialized. At 21 she still has baby teeth because the permanent teeth never grew. So far she has had 6 implants. 9 more to go. Insurance won't cover the majority of it. We are so far in the hole for over $8000. When it's all said and done, close to $30,000 to replace all the baby teeth with implants. Plus the pain and suffering she has to go through for the bone grafts. Yeah, this family hates dentists.

All of my work has been cheap or donated at this point. I need a new set of tires, but at the moment I am pinching every penny I can to purchase new rubber for the open air beast.

I wasn't joking when I said I understand. I have a daughter in braces, and one I am about to add to my auto insurance. The 2 year cost of braces will cost me around $10,000. I am terrified about having a teeneage driver on my insurance.

People ask me all the time why my truck is still sitting without an engine. There is a catch with my truck. If I cannot use it, the money I make recording music is cut in half. With the truck down I am left doing studio and session work only, no mobile or live recording. No DJ work either.

I am now looking for a normal job, working for someone else. Location doesn't really matter. I will gladly pack up and relocate out of Augusta for the right job.

Trust me, I didn't ask for a dental problem. I should have had my wisdom teeth removed years ago. My dentist said I should be fine. There was supposedly plenty of room in my big mouth for the teeth.

She was right, the teeth came in with no problems. No one could forsee that I would begin grinding my teeth at night and fracture two of those demon teeth from hell.
