My trip expenses for the American Muscle show

Here is my total round trip cost to go to the American Muscle show round trip with my 2012 3.7 V6 Mustang.
This includes a lot of heavy traffic and about five million red traffic signals.
I did get 35MPG through Georgia and Florida due to I set my cruise control on 80 MPH and just stayed in the center lane

This is all 87 octane gas and I sure don't drive to save it.

Gas tank full when left the Gas station in Port Orange at -0- on trip “B”
( Shell )

First gas stop in Florence S.C. at 416.2 miles ( Exon) 12.383 gallons
$1.999 a gallon for $24.75 @ 33.61 MPG

Second gas stop in Onley Virginia at 385.9 miles (Exon) 12.121 gallons
$1.959 a gallon for $23.75 @ 31.8 MPG

Third gas stop in Bear Delaware 357.4 miles (Royal Farms) 12.963 gallons
$1.959 a gallon for $25.40 @ 27.5 MPG

Forth gas stop in Norfolk Virginia 281.2 miles (7-11) 10.269 gallons
$1.899 a gallon for $19.50 @ 27.3 MPG

Fifth gas stop in Yamassee South Carolina 438.3 miles (Shell) 13.501 gallons
$2.259 a gallon for $30.50 @ 35.7MPG

Sixth and Home in Port Orange Florida 277.1 miles (Shell) 9.010 gallons
$1.999 a gallon for $18.81 @ 30.7 MPG

Tolls,
Chesapeake bay Bridge & Tunnels $13.00 up Going North
$15.00 down Going South
Route 1 in Delaware $2.00 Going North ( Did not use going south)

Total miles for trip = 2,159.0
Total gallons of gas used =70.247
Total cost of gas = $142.71
30.734 MPG round trip

Ronnie

Of course they did Ha! Ha!
I probably could have done better but you know how Mario is.
He likes to stop in every rest area he sees.
He also likes to clean the cobwebs when leaving the rest areas and getting back on the highway.
I only do it for him. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
About 160 + miles were done in Pennsylvania and Elkton Maryland/Delaware in very heavy traffic.
The 7-11 no-name gas I bought in Norfolk was the worst MPG but I seen it was cheap at 1.89 a gallon so I stopped and got it, I really had to pee bad anyway at that time.
You should start making plans now to get your LAGUNA SECA and head up to the show.
If I could just hit the Lotto, I would buy you one. Ha! Ha!
Ronnie

PS: I sure felt better having a spare tire this year. ( Thanks again)

Yea, I'm still looking for one. And if the lotto was in my near future, I'd have one now, along with that 67 Camaro project finished (needs floor pans).

Sigh, some day.
