Any R/C Quad copter Drone Enthusiasts?

I know, this is a Mustang forum. I have a drone with a lost transmitter, and need a new one. I have no idea how to locate the reciecer frequency though. If this was an R/C car or boat I would know what to do. With the drone I am lost.

It is GPS stabilized. It has a home feature. It is also fully controllable manually. I assumed that I could open the body and find a frequency chip, but I'm not seeing one. It has to be soldered on to the board somewhere. I see the antenna, but no numbers.

Actually, I know about where the old transmitter is. It is at the end of a friend's dock, in the pond. His son was playing with it and dropped the remote because he did not use the wrist strap. Accidents happen.

Any ideas to help me get this little toy in the air again.

Is it a Bind and Fly or does it have a frequency?

I have a couple RC Helicopters although they haven't been flown in a bit. It seems it's cheaper to leave them in the closet than buy replacement blades, rotors, shafts, etc lol

I'm not 100% sure what bind and fly is. I have experience with R/C cars and boats. Those always had frequency chips. I do not see a chip on this.

...and I agree, the toys are sometimes better to set up and look at than to use.

Bind in fly is a self connecting radio. You would turn on the controller then the device (drone, helicopter etc) and it will start lighting up from red to green on the unit. After green they are connected and ready to fly.

If so then you should be able to grab someone else's BNF remote and test and fly. Then purchase another. Otherwise you need the frequency.

That makes sense. I do believe this one may be Bind And Fly. I will have to experiment.

The quad is nothing special. It is a black F-AUV Seraphi made in China. Mine doesn't have a gimble for a camera mount. It is just a drone, but does have GPS capabilities to stabilize it and bring it home if control is lost.
