Problem installing Winxp - Mustang Evolution

Problem installing Winxp

I am trying to reformat my computer and install Winxp and redhat and suse on it

but when i put in the winxp cd and it boots up to the cd it goes thorugh the process of loading all the nhardware crap and then it gives me the option to choose to reapir or install new windows.... when i hit install fresh windows it gives me a blue screen that says Stop: and goes on to give a error about Nopage something or god knows

Why wont it let me install it! :

You might want to use the fdisk program on the Linux cd to partition your harddrive to the sizes you want for each OS, then install the linux first. Later when you install the XP put it on the partition that you made for it.

If you do it this way you can use GRUB or LILO (boot loaders) to control which OS you boot into. check out http://en.tldp.org/HOWTO/LILO.html

I'm just recalling this stuff from the one time I did it about 2 years ago, so I'm sure things have changed (gotten easier since then) and I know I've forgotten a lot.

That is the error I am getting.

The Page Fault in non paged area stop error when trying to get into the winxp installation

Brent I may have a util for you that will work, its very similar to fdisk, but is called GDisk. I should have it tonight with the switches and command line you need to use to delete that pesky ole HD of yours!

According to the error, XP doesn't like your RAM. If that's true, you can partition it all you want, but it ain't gonna matter.

Its not my ram. There is no way I can have two bad memory sticks just like that. It worked fine before I tried installing Linux. I dont think I partioned the linux from the windows correctly.
