The most important thread ever.

Does the Mr. Clean Auto-Dry Car Wash really work?? I've seen the commercials and it looks like a big scam... But then I read a review in a mag that said they loved it. So. Anybody know?

It comes out this spring.

But I like spending time on my car and hand washing and drying it.

I just saw this commercial add yesterday, and it had said only on TV for 29.99$, but if they sell it in the stores that would be kewl too, be cautions for the first use...

Another item for lazy *** people to buy. Im sorry but if you want that type of awesome gleam and rain repelling theirs nothing like doing it yourself by hand where you know it will work for sure not connect some stupid item to your hose and lookie it works. Doubt it.

well when i wash my car, it takes me all day, but cause i do others cars also this would be nice to use and cut my time in 1/2, also when i wash my car, i wash it all up and spray it down and then when its all clean and wet I take the end of the hose off and let the water come out nice and easy, start at the top and then hood/trunk, then sides. the water will roll off my car and only leave maybe 10-20 little water spots all over, then take my chamois and dry it off. so i want to see this thing and how it filters the water. We have VERY VERY hardwater here

um I did it to a 2000 in Connecticut I get as much snow as you do believe me. and how do you figure you do "more" then I do? seriously now lets not be jumping to conclusions like you know me man. Cause Ill show you my collection of cleaning products and i can bet you 100 bucks that it will put yours to shame hands down. I deal with all the same bs you do man cause the 2000 was daily driven even through snow.
its all on whether you can deal wit cleaning a car even wit snow on the ground. cause thats the way I am.

ah wells either way who cares detailing is detailing whether it takes you a day or me 4 hours whatever at least our stangs look good in the end

the reason hard water is hard water and cars have water spots is mineral deposits in the water, it filters them out, so really you get soap and filtered water. It should work very well, its teh same basic thing you get if you buy distilled water and rinse the car after your done washing it with it, but even better if youw ash the car with it to begin with, i would be interested in seeing how it turns out.
