The picture in the video, doesn't justify the actual damage. It had water over the dash. Everything turned to rust in a matter of 3 days after the flood. The wiring fried, the fuse box litterally melted away, and the stentch in the interoir was horrible. If you have ever smelled wet marsh lands, times that by 100 with mildew growing so fast that the interior had a greenish tint to it. The car was on jackstands, we expected flooding, but not a 20 ft storm surge. The water also came up 2 feet in the house. Fortunately, i had gotten most of the furniture upstairs, before everything was lost. It sucked, this was only a cat2 hurricane, with 95-100 mph sustained winds. And did almost as much damage as a cat4. My insurance company alone, had over 1000 auto claims from this Hurricane. Some of the cars i saw, were BRAND NEW vehicles, to a few hot rods. It sucks to lose something, that you have that much time and effort into.
