Me Vs the mighty beast

So there I was. Minding my own business at a Red light when the beast creaps up to the line next to me.

I look down, knowing he's going to try and cut in front of me..

I have her sitting in 1st, watching the light. No way can I turn down this challenge from the powerful maching sitting next to me.

The light turns green, we both floor it.

5 seconds later he nudges ahead of me as we finally clear the intersection.

He's pulling ahead.. my engine is screaming approaching 3000rpm's. I have to shift!

Still falling behind, it's obvious i'm no match for the beast.

I shift into second and let him merge....

Boy that Saturn sure was fast....

my girlfriend's little saturn isn't that slow so long as it is between 5k-7k... fear the rpms!

That's a jeep for ya lol. Cmon ken, they're not that slow. I drive one all the time. Actually has some power if you drive em right...you did get the 4.0 didn't you? Unles you didn't get a real rubi lol

no. It has 4.10's and a 4.0l

It's impossible to get through an intersection in 1st gear. I can get maybe 10ft before I have to shift.
