Will my wife ever see her car again?

So this morning I was laying in bed and my wife just walked out the door to go to work. Then I hear the door open and she came in and said someone took my car, I didn't believe her and I got up and went outside and she wasn't pulling my leg someone stole her car. We call the police and they came and filed there report and said if we don't hear from them in a couple of days that it is a bad sign. She had a 99 Honda civic EX (popular car for thieves). So what do you guys think, what is the chance we will see her car again or will we just collect the insurance check? Thanks.

If you do see it I'm guessing it won't be driveable. It's already been gutted more than likely.

nope, and if it does turn up, itll just be a shell.

search craigslist for people "parting out" parts for the next month or so.

They make the engines here, not the cars/trucks.

Yes, I was mearly pointing out that we have a toyota plant here as well, perhaps I wasn't specific in my post. We do engines here.
