Used to be co-captain for a tourny team back in the day..sold my gun when I got my car tho, got too expensive to have two hobbies.

Had a vapor bushy with CP barrel kit, armageddon nitro tank, blah blah blah all the works.

I still have my jersey up here at school, I wear it when the car club here goes and plays(I rent guns now). I love when they argue whose team I'm on
I'm sure you would. I only played competively for a year. Best was 6th place at Cal Jam out of 60 teams (on 3 man). And yes, I took my Spyder to the tourney. Everyone laughed... until I actually started knocking people out. I usually played back and mid... my team thought I did some crazy stuff (like hitting the 50 on a break)... so they stuck me in the mid and I kicked some butt

Angels, Cockers, Timmys... bring them on... I'll take my gun anyday over those things. I can shoot as well as all of them, and be able to fix my marker on the field!

Lets see someone fix a timmy on the firld.... nu uh ... I dont think so.
hence why I bought a bushmaster. I could field strip it as easily as a spyder/mag and yet I get low pressure operation and a NICE electronic trigger. I could stick my finger in the chamber and shoot and the bolt would sotp on my finger.

Lets see a spyder do that

Well, I wouldnt be able to stop the bolt with my finger... But mine is as low pressure as you can get a CO2 powered TL+ Marker. 6 Stage SubZero Regulator, Anti-Syphon Valve in both CO2 Tanks, Low Pressure Volumizer, Turbo Performance Valve, Spring Kit, Cyclone Bolt, Electronic trigger (Sprint).

It's probably not as low pressure as yours.. but I can last all day on one (20oz) tank of CO2... shooting about 3000-3200 balls.

It does what I need it to do And that, as any paintball player will say, is all you really need. You can buy a 2000 IR3 Angel... but it wont help your game if you cant play worth **** to begin with.

very true. Which is why I still wreck it up when I play with rental spyders against my friends.

but a good low psi electro gun is fun as hell to shoot. And not worrying about co2 dropping off as the tanks pressure gets low or it being cold out is a big plus.

I had a spyder as my first gun, then had like 2 mags, a mag RT, an angel, had an emag but returned it, and 2 bushys, with the vapor being the last gun I owned..I think I can rebuild an automag-based gun with my eyes closed(not the emag tho).

if in sniping you mean laying tons of paint to cover players so your fonrt guys can move up then yes... 8)

but you can't "snipe" with a paintball gun. Anyone who says they do is usually just afraid to play up front and get shot at.

Allow me to rephrase it then. Playing back with a pump gun is like sniping.

And it's not always true that they dont like to get shot at... they're just not as fast of a runner usually.

anyone up to Last Man Standing... M4s only.
i would imagine i'm pretty good at paintball. what strategy changes when going from what we're taught to paintball? paintball needs a clear line of fire, and obviously you can't pick off people from 400m with them, but what else? sounds like a good hobby that i'd enjoy. the last time i went was in HS.
