| So who likes to paintball :)
I need a paintball gun and any other stuff you guys would recommend. me and about 6 other guys that work at Dominos are going to get together a team. Some of these guys are really into it with their 600 dolalar paint ball guns. I need a paintball gun but not a 600 dollar one.
150 is more like it.
Also any other suggestions would be nice.
I have no clue whats good and whats not

When i go, i run outta balls and c02 super fast.. i end up spending so much.

ouch.
It was so funny once my buddies and I went to a paintball park near here.
One field has these two castles and we basically crossed over and got into their castle it was like 4 of us and we were undetected...
We were so close to the flag we could see it, and no one could see us!
My friend sees like 3 guys gaurding the flag.. So he pulls out a paint granade he bought..
But what he didnt know is when he pulled it out it activated it.. and he waited to long.... and BAM all our stealthlyness got COVERED in blue paint. lol.

Lot of my friends were playing Pball at some local park when one of them yells "There's a guy at that tree!" He begins shooting him and nails him in the back of the head. The guy comes out, he was on our own team, and one of our friends. The guy started bragging out loud until we told him he shot one of our own guys lol that was greaaaaaaat good times.. other stories where the same guy did a retarded martial arts roll across to this other bunker when this little kid shot him in the head with his crappy rental gun.

My friend told me one time this fairly large kid was playing and he tried to do that. Flew across the entie .5 feet and landed on his face. My friend walked over there and shot him straight in the head. | |

Brent, I didnt even read the rest of the posts after that ebay auction. That setup will get you started, but you will tire of the stock feel of the spyder Xtra after 2-3 times of playing with it and you'll start to want to mod it.
I bought a simular auction from eBay. Only it was a Spyder TL+. I got the whole kit (marker, shake&shoot hopper, 20oz tank, a turtle pod pack and a mask) for just over 100.
I then took it out and played, and before I went back to the field, I dumped 300 bucks into the gun, and the week after, I dumped another 250... and today... this is what it looks like... and yes, I can shoot a constant 13 balls per second. (If you want the mod list, I could give it to ya)  | |

Then yes, get that starter kit. It will have everything you'll need (though I didnt notice if it came with any paintball pods). Just be aware, that if you put your hand on the front vertical hand grip (This is also called your regulator), you hand will get cold as the CO2 turns into a gas and chills the regulator.
You may want to buy a "Squigee" (usually about 10 bucks) incase you chop a ball. This tool will clean out your barrel of the paint while you're still on the field.

Used to be co-captain for a tourny team back in the day..sold my gun when I got my car tho, got too expensive to have two hobbies.
Had a vapor bushy with CP barrel kit, armageddon nitro tank, blah blah blah all the works.
I still have my jersey up here at school, I wear it when the car club here goes and plays(I rent guns now). I love when they argue whose team I'm on

I only played competively for a year. Best was 6th place at Cal Jam out of 60 teams (on 3 man). And yes, I took my Spyder to the tourney. Everyone laughed... until I actually started knocking people out. I usually played back and mid... my team thought I did some crazy stuff (like hitting the 50 on a break)... so they stuck me in the mid and I kicked some butt
Angels, Cockers, Timmys... bring them on... I'll take my gun anyday over those things. I can shoot as well as all of them, and be able to fix my marker on the field!
Lets see someone fix a timmy on the firld.... nu uh ... I dont think so. | |
